The ship was massive, big, foreboding and with all of the work that had gone into it... Orihime was looking at who they had while they were on the planet. Getting a ship to join them as it went into the hanger bay of the ship and feeding OriRel technology so she could put it into her systems were giving them a lot of feedback. The spirit of the ancient jedi that had merged with the ship was going over all of the things here when she was celebrating Sorel appointment to the ranks of master within the jedi order. She had worked to get a couple of things for them here like biot droids who could roam around and help them set up all of the things in the ship. She wanted to see many of the things they had going on before they finished up here. The one biot droid who they had though was Usagi and she was well she was awesome an dfun to have around with a chance for all of this. Usagi could become very helpful being a biot that was a biomechanical being so OriRel might like her or be weirded out but hey never know and this was all about exploring and trying to set up the ship to be better. "Alright so we have a plan yes?" She said it looking at Sorel while she was setting up Usagi to be activated so she could be with them.

(alright so the goal is 30 posts and if you want to add more to the sub itself brign it up here as a suggestion and here http://starwarsrp.net/topic/100517-orirel/so it can be done... also have fun)

Kami had to admit she wasn't the best choice here she was more of a... mechanically minded person.. more object focused than people.
and the new ship was giving her the creeps as she entered.
Heck organic ships were something she didn't understand but the technical part she supposed she could help with.. maybe
still the thing was... unsightly. it made behind her eyes hurt to look at.
no more it made her brain hurt to think about.
thank fully he saw [member="Orihime Ike"] that gave her something to focus on.

Ready are you? What know you of ready?
Sorel still hadn’t fully come to terms with dealing with the ship. It wasn’t that it was organic. Nor was it that the pilot was a disembodied Jedi ghost. And nor was it that the interface was a bowl of jelly – although that was a significant factor she realised – it was, after all, most likely a combination of the three and the fact that these aspects combined to ensure she wasn’t assured she knew everything she needed to know about how this ship operated.

Sure, she and Orihime knew more than anyone else in the galaxy. And Orihime was a country mile ahead of her when it came to understanding. So on that basis, she was something of an expert. Which was why she was here, now.

“A plan?” Sorel echoed, more in hope than certainty. “I’m sure you have, and I’ll play my part. Just point me in the right direction and prod me when I need to act. You can rely on me.”

And then they were joined by someone new. Sorel bowed as she was accustomed to do. “Welcome aboard,” she said – which was something else she tended to do.

Looking at the others here as she saw Kami arriving and she offered the woman a grin. "Welcome." She was looking at Sorel as they looked over the different tech that the large tendrils the ship had were grasping and absorbing technology that it would be able to use. Orihime was unsure about some of it still but she was really good at not showing her understanding as the small repair droids were going around and working on it. To get the synthweave throughout the ship. They were skilled and knew what they were doing plus the crystalline weave was better with organic ships as jaritha from zenoma sekot used to interface between mechanical and organic. She knew there was a few other things that they were wanting to work with here as she turned to see Sorel and there was the voice coming from around them. "Hey new people are here... welcome." The ship was speaking to them as she could feel the force energy around them.

Kami approached [member="Orihime Ike"] feeling.. uneasy to say the least.
is seeing the organic.. thing made her unesasy landing in it made her feel... well dirty.
" I'll just come out and say it. i dont like this it's off. it feels wrong. like using some one else's refresher. i dont trust organic things. i dont understand them. " she admoted threw her t visored face plate.
this was making her seanses scream at her she didn't understand this.

Sorel could sense the newcomer’s unease. She also empathised as she felt exactly the same way when she first set foot on board. But there was also something slightly comical about the situation, that the ship welcomed the visitor as if it were simply a member of the crew.

But the humour of the circumstances took a back seat to her recognition that it was uncomfortable and there was a need to consider the ship’s feelings too. Sorel had, to date, kept her feelings under wraps – at least vocally – although she suspected the Jedi ghost may be able to sense emotions and therefore her unease. So she resolved to put on a brave face and consider the ship’s feelings as much as her own.

the unpleasant feelings only worsened.. kami's heckles were up. this felt.. dirty she felt almost ashamed.
it was obvious now, Lyth was right Kami has mental issues of some sort unfamiliar things were disturbing to her.
she was on edge.
she raced over to the new comer. [member="Sorel Crieff"] and [member="Orihime Ike"].
" I dont like it. i dont know the tech and i dont trust it." she announced embarrased by her words.

[member="Sorel Crieff"] [member="Kami Meran"]

She was looking at the two fo them and surprised somewhat. She knew new experiences could be uneasy but they both seemed strange to her. Might just be that she was used to a lot of new things with her mother and family while they were going. She looked at the two of them and came over to Kami looking at her. "Hey hey hey, it is okay, just breathed and relax. the ship might seem strange but just breathe and calm yourself. Get to know her or it and you'll see it is a very cool ship. Plus benefit long trips when you are alone makes a great conversationalist or and this is key... the ship is able to make its own spirits and alcohol." Orihime looked at her and she was a mando after all and a skilled one... so best to work with her as the ship. "I can make an area for all of you and the personal craft or anything to make you more comfortable." The ship was always sounding the same when it came to wanting to be with them and. "Oh oh oh we can play a game. Can you guess howmany fingers I am holding up?"

Kami closed her eyes trying to relax she knew what was going on was all in her head. damit she was a Manda- skeving-lorian she never panicked.
the ship was making her uneasy. she was starting to hyperventilate.
" why is the room spinning? " she asked.
hat fallowed next was a passing out. Mando's pass out not faint. grandmothers faint Mando's pass out and they do iy in bad ass styles not that wimpy sagging at the knees thing you Jedi do.
no Kami passed out like a badass. she fell bolt straight like a tree. smacking her face into the ground.

Ready are you? What know you of ready?
Trust was an interesting concept when it came to organic ships and ghost pilots. Mechanical and electronic parts did what they were designed to do. Even sophisticated AI had a basic programme to adhere to. But a ship that was more akin to an Eeopie than a speeder bike? It could be trained and guided but ultimately had a mind of its own.

And a pilot could be disciplined, or fired. But a ghost? How do you make sure they don’t do what they think is best as opposed to what the chain of command decided? It was a thorny issue. A greater issue for Sorel was the fact that the newcomer was a Mandalorian. Sorel’s only experience of their culture was to be on the receiving end of raids as both the Republic in general and the Jedi Order specifically, were targeted for attack. It was always dismissed as non-sanctioned, but it happened too often for Sorel to believe the powers that be were interested in doing anything to stop it.

But any concerns were muted by two significant events. Firstly the Jedi ghost tried to play a game with them and then the Mando passed out. The former was a combination of odd and awkward. The latter was a combination of awkward and more awkward. Initially Sorel wondered if the newcomer had died, so dramatic was the fall, but she still had a Force presence, so she was definitely still alive.

Orihime was looking at them and then Kami was falling over and she looked at Sorel. "I think our combined awesome killed her." She was looking at Kami and could feel she was still alive. 'No wait she is alive... we're all good here." She was concerned btu nerves were a terrible thing and best way to get past them was to play it off as something she was just not sure what she was going to be abel to play it off as. In this case she went over and was feeling for Kami's aura within the force to make sure she was alright and focused on the force energies to lift her up and get her over somewhere to lay down. "Do you need somewhere she can rest? I can make up a bed." Orihime looked at her and was dragging the mandalroian now as she spoke. "yes somewhere." She was looking as one fo the walls shifted and opened into a room with a bed and the floor started rolling almost moving so the heavily armored girl could be set on it and moved forward on the floor easily up onto the bed as Orihime looked at it. "Well that was easier." She motioned for Sorel when she was looking over some of the things. "Alright, lets work and try to make sure she is alright."

Kami shakily made her way to her feet.
" can i say i don't like this? it.. its too different i don't understand it. " the arkanian had a few mental issues that made her better with the mechanical than with people.
she didn't understand the concept it made her pass out.
she felt very ashamed with herself this was just embarrassing.
" I don't know what i can do here? " she admitted removing her helmet revealing her young sweat coated face.

Ready are you? What know you of ready?
Sorel laughed. It was a soft chuckle, without malice – but she could not contain her amusement. Not at the newcomer’s expense per se, but at Orihime’s comment. “At least it was a painless way to go,” she said, comfortable in her humour as she knew the young woman was still alive.

And now the ship came into its own – first making recommendations based upon some sort of medical AI Sorel presumed, then providing the correct facilities, in this case a bed. She followed Orihime as she dragged their visitor through the ship until she was resting on a bed.

And almost as quickly, the young woman was on her feet. And Sorel emphasised, there wasn’t always a lot she could do in these situations – so she did what she always did. She was supportive, she lent a hand and she did what was asked of her. It had served her well until now.

Looking at the woman there was a look on her face when she was sitting there as she spoke. "it is alright, we don't really understand this ship either it is just something we have been working with and have gotten to see. The technology is well different." She was refering to the bio organic parts as the ship itself was moving to make things easier for them. "Your experience though with ships and building things means you can help with the organic parts and you do have one of the better and broader interfacing components." She looked from Kami to Sorel while she stood up and the room was very nice while some of the smaller droids brought food. "So you don't pass out on us again."

Kami looked over to [member="Orihime Ike"]. " That was more mental than physiological. i think it was a form of psychosomatic response. Lyth thinks i have an Arkanian form of Autism. " kami informed.
she began thinking of things to use on the ship.
" I have no real idea what this ship can do? but i can get a fair amount of Fotia's Fire launchers. and there are a few organic ship weapons. and i do have the Neural net. not sure hoe that works in this thing though."

Sorel Crieff

Ready are you? What know you of ready?
Sorel nodded at Orihime’s words. Their understanding dwarfed anyone else’s but it was not fair to say they fully understood what it was capable of, or how it worked.

“Think of it like a cyborg – just in a ship form. Part organic, part machine. And food never harmed anyone, even if it was just a shock. I’d recommend the chocolate!”

“And your ideas are so welcome. There are no rules to go on just yet. This work is truly ground-breaking and I’m sure the ship would let us know if something was not compatible. Think of it as working ‘with’ the ship as opposed to doing things ‘to’ the ship.”

Orihime looked at Kami and placed a hand on her shoulder as she spoke. "It is alright, we ca work with it and take our time. There is no real way to know until we try." She was looking at Sorel when she stood up and looked at the food. "The chocolate is good and we also have some food or anything. Just take your time, get used to it and relax yourself. The ship once you get to know them is very intuitive and able to help you out. If anything the ship wants to meet you and get to know you or whatever you can bring." She said it while backing up and the ship was flying as it brought a screen for them to see outside looking at the other ships that had docked with it. "Maybe you'd like a view?"

Sorel Crieff

Ready are you? What know you of ready?
Sorel smiled. From a very rocky start, they were clearly making progress and that could only be a good thing. She took a few pieces of chocolate for herself and nodded as she tasted it. Orihime was right, it was good.

And then she turned her attention back to Kami. She was the right person for the job all right. She clearly understood Vong technology and Sorel was sure that once she became engrossed in the work, she’d overcome her discomfort with the nature of the ship.

[member="Kami Meran"] [member="Orihime Ike"]

" hay [member="Sorel Crieff"] question dose this ship have a stomach? because i have a few ideas. like an acid cannon. plus i have a gravity shell weapon in the concept stage. i'll need to get in touch with the Vong guy about organic armor like say a Yorik Coral or a dovin Basal but im not too familiar mind you. im coming at this from a military aspect" [member="Orihime Ike"]
