The soldier-gone-cop-gone-mercenary is more often seen in gear considering the line of work he does but in the rare moments he is seen by someone without his usual gear, Thane will most often be in clothing fitting an ex-military man. [SIZE=10.6667px]The son of a police inspector mother and a naval officer father, Thane could hardly find himself anywhere else but in the local recruitment office of the Galactic Alliance. Joining the army was something he hadn't just dreamed of but something he had been preparing for during his high school extensively often at the expense of forming bonds and relationships with social circles. Thane picked up the sense of justice from his mother and subsequently the hardliner belief in the righteousness of the Galactic Alliance. From his father he picked up the dangerous conviction in the existence of fate and the subsequent persuasion that the good always prevailed. All these strong pillars would drive him forward in life but later on would become the ruins in which he now lies on.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=10.6667px]Thane's commitment and dedication to the Alliance and its laws sent him far in his career in the military becoming one of the youngest and less experienced members of a reputable airborne division. This commitment, just like everything else in life, would be a double-edged blade. His initial 'crusading' outlook to war campaigns in which his unit was deployed within was seen in a bad light by his fellow comrades but certainly was likened by his superiors. [/SIZE]
[SIZE=10.6667px]Later on, as an officer in the special forces and a man with barely anytime for his family, Thane learned from dubious sources of the death of his wife and child. The pillar given by his mother collapsed - what justice was the death of his family? He became lost, confused and aimless. This state of disorder atypical to the soldier brewed within him anger. An anger at the galaxy but hope still remained alive. Hope in fate.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=10.6667px]By accident or not, the death of his family coincided with the beginning of the end of the Alliance. Driven from the Outer Rim slowly, but surely by the forces of the First Order and torn from internal strife and distrust, the stones of his last standing pillar one by one were coming down and when the Endgame of the Galactic Alliance arrived - hope was extinguished. The last pillar collapsed leaving him standing on the ruins no longer the man he was. What was the meaning of all of this, of the galaxy, of fate? Nothing.[/SIZE]
