DESCRIPTION
Developed by the various minds within the Trade Federation, the TF01 Droid Battleship; Tigershark Pattern was designed to operate as an effective large-scale capital ship that could operate in a multitude of roles. Like the Barracuda that came before, the Tigershark was purpose-built as a combat warship, bristling with gun decks and torpedo tubes. While it’s profile was less menacing than the Barracuda, the construction of the Tigershark allowed for a specialized focus in terms of engaging it’s enemies. That focus revolved around unleashing punishing broadsides that held the incredible potential of blasting apart smaller vessels with relative ease.

The Tigershark’s appearance was chosen thanks in part to the incredible design that was produced and utilized by the Separatist-aligned Quarren in ages past. The vessel’s spaceframe offered a smaller profile from the front and from the aft, which made the automated warship all the more difficult to strike in spatial combat. At least from the aforementioned vectors. When it came to the port and starboard profiles - the Tigershark was considerably more pronounced and vulnerable to enemy fire. It was there that the designers elected to focus a great concentration of the warship’s weaponry, to help balance out the automated starship’s construction, layout and spaceframe.

With the port and starboard sides being outfitted with a host of weaponry, the designers elected to be very selective in what they equipped the Tigershark with. As it would be incredibly difficult to match the firepower of an ImpStar’s forward firing arc - the designers believed that the automated warship should have a plethora of long-range weaponry built into its space frame; which included a considerable amount of flexible warhead launchers and missile tubes. With the amount of long-range weaponry that was fitted to the Tigershark, the automated warship would be capable of engaging targets from much farther away. A factor which allowed for the artificial intelligence commanding the vessel to respond to the unfolding situation on a battlefield with greater efficacy and accuracy.

Coupled with the considerable amount of warhead launchers and missile tubes, the Tigershark was outfitted with a selection of long-range heavy weaponry; allowing the warship to engage hostile vessels from a considerable distance. Or, should the Tigershark be engaged at close range, the automated warship would have enough firepower to devastate her opposition and sail out of harm’s way. With such heavy weaponry, the warship was a danger to all that stood against her, as the potential to blast through smaller vessels grew ever-larger the closer they approached. Add in the comprehensive network of point defence weaponry? It was almost impossible for smaller craft or hostile warheads to approach the mighty Tigershark without support, and generous measures of luck.

With dozens of contingencies and redundancies built into the Tigershark, even though it was wholly automated, it was unlikely to fall into enemy hands without a fight. As the systems were bio-hexacrypted with countless pyrowalls, enemy slicers would find themselves hard-pressed to overcome the warships defences. The same could be said of enemy combatants who storm the vessel’s spartan corridors, as they would encounter heavy resistance from not only the automatons stationed aboard, but the various extensions of the warships wrath as well. Automated gun batteries, depressurized decks; these are but some of the examples that the Tigershark could employ to repel those who boarded her. As she was a danger to any hostile forces that sailed across the solar tides, the automated warship was a terrible threat to anyone that stalked her corridors with malicious intent.

Thus, the Tigershark would become an invaluable addition to interstellar navies across the galaxy. Add in the placement of electrum in the most inconspicuous of places, this mighty warship would surely tank the Electrum stand and give rise to more fiscally stable currencies thrice over. All hail the Tigershark, and all hail the Trade Federation.

I am surprised you opted to weigh this beauty down with life support and recreational facilities, but I suppose organics are quite needy like that.

P.S. The Single Craft Hangar field is only a part of the Corvette/Frigate template.

Approved.
