-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
SPECIAL FEATURES
- Utilizes Selectively Stabilized Detonite
- Prestressed durasteel fragmentation casing
- 3 meter blast radius
- Selective timer for 3 seconds, 10 seconds, 1 minute, or 10 minutes
- Can detonate either in a high-explosive blast, or as an armor piercing shaped charge
- (+) Stabilized Explosive: selectively stabilized detonite is exceptionally stable, and is essentially inert until activated; no amount of raw energy, electricity, kinetic force, or radiation will make it explode until it is activated.
- (+) Selective Detonation: can either detonate in a high-explosive blast for antipersonnel duty, or as a shaped charge for anti-vehicular duty.
- (-) Electric Arming: the SD-11 makes an audible electric whine as it arms, meaning an enemy combatant may hear it more easily as it travels through the air.
- (-) Conventional Explosive: the SD-11 is ultimately not a baradium or thorium device, and has more limited stopping power in comparison - it may take multiple grenades to take down a hardened target.

DESCRIPTION
The Tetron SD-11 Variable Detonator is a security-grade ordnance designed for Tetron Security teams operating on volatile corporate warzones and frontiers where both precision and safety of transport are paramount. Built around Tetron's Selectively Stabilized Detonite, the SD-11 remains chemically inert its durasteel safety pin is removed and its striker handle is released. Once released, a high-tension spring brings the striker down so that two electrite crystal leads meet - as piezoelectric crystals, they generate electricity as well as create a complete circuit, providing energy to a small static pulse adaptor. The static pulse adaptor sends either low-frequency or high-frequency pulses to the detonite charge.
The SD-11 boasts two firing modes; high-explosive, and anti-vehicular. In high-explosive, the SD-11 detonates in a blend of concussion and fragmentation grenade, sending out a deadly blast of heat, concussive force, and durasteel shrapnel out to a range of three meters from the impact zone. In anti-vehicular, a small magnetic clamp is activated at the base of the grenade, sufficient to draw it to anything metallic within a meter - once thrown, the grenade will generally attach to what it is thrown against, and then detonate as a small directionally shaped blast of one meter, acting as a limpet mine sufficient to blast through fortifications and armor.
Despite its versatility, the SD-11 is designed as a specialist tool rather than a universal munition. Its size and weight mean security operatives typically carry only two or three units per loadout, so doctrine emphasizes placement, timing, and combined arms rather than massed grenade use. As a conventional detonation device it does not match the raw yield of exotic baradium or thorium charges; hardened targets may require multiple SD-11s or follow-up breaching assets. For these reasons Tetron Security recommends the SD-11 for planned demolitions, precision breaching, anti-vehicle ambushes, or salvoed anti-personnel deployment.
