STRENGTHS

• (+) Heavy Particle Blaster: fires a heavy particle beam that has excellent penetration power, but not much explosive power for a particle beam. The TC-15.5 is thus excellent against personal armors, but less so against armored surfaces like vehicle armor. Like most particle beams, this bolt cannot be reflected by a lightsaber.
• (+) Rugged: the TC-15.5 can be handled much more roughly than the standard blaster, and keep firing as designed across a variety of environments.

WEAKNESSES

• (-) Ammunition: the TC-15.5 is powerful for a pistol, but uses large amounts of blaster gas to create its powerful bolts. As a result, it carries less rounds compared to other heavy blasters.
• (-) Weight: the TC-15.5 is heavy for a pistol, in a manner similar to the venerable Model 80.

DESCRIPTION
The Tetron Centrex TC-15.5 Particle Blaster Pistol is designed by Tetron Centrex as the primary backup sidearm for Corporate Soldiers, and is often the primary sidearm of officers and Corporate Enforcers.

Firing a heavy particle bolt that offers excellent penetration of personal armor, the TC-15.5 is rugged, reliable, and designed to be used in a pinch to dispatch enemy combatants when a heavier weapon isn't available. With its shortened barrel, the TC-15.5 is easy to holster and draw, and utilizes simple iron sights augmented with tritium dots for an easy-to-use (if somewhat low tech) glow sight.

Like its predecessor the TC-11, the TC-15.5 boasts is built to last, and is constructed with magnabolted rivets, inert-power-insulated wires, matter composite shock dampers, gel injected airseals, and is dipped in preservative coatings. The TC-15.5 can be bashed against a rock, dropped in mud, then rolled in sand and still fire as designed.
