STRENGTHS

• (+) Superb Cutting Power: with its mono edge and ultrasonic vibrogenerator, the KA-GAR is more than capable of cutting through durasteel and even reinforced armor composites like duraplast, though it can only hope to scratch supermetals like phrik and beskar. This means it is more than sufficient for everyday field use by Tetron soldiers and the standard armors they may encounter.
• (+) Rugged: the KA-GAR can be handled much more roughly than the standard vibroweapon, and keep cutting as designed across a variety of environments.

WEAKNESSES

• (-) Field Weapon: the KA-GAR is a peerless military and field knife, but despite the superb construction, it is not made out of a super material like phrik or beskar - a lightsaber can cut straight through it.

DESCRIPTION
The Tetron Centrex KA-GAR Fighting/Utility Vibrodagger takes inspiration from Toprawan survival enthusiasts and the venerable 'aKraB Clip-Point Vibrodagger. Taking the moniker "KA-GAR" (Kill-a-Gundark), the KA-GAR holds itself to the 'aKraB standard by being thin enough to slip between armor plates, but strong enough to pierce duraplast. A highly capable fighting knife, the KA-GAR is capable of quickly dispatching foes at personal range, is weighted so that it can be thrown with accuracy, and only produces a low hum when in operation - making it suitable for stealth missions.

Combined with serrated teeth on the knife spine, the KA-GAR makes a capable utility knife, quickly sawing through durasteel cable, dense vegetation, and foes alike. Even unpowered, the KA-GAR possesses a keen and ultra-sharp quadranium fiber-alloy edge, laser-honed to molecular thickness, and is more than capable of cutting through lesser materials like plastoid and thin durasteel.

Like all Tetron products, the KA-GAR is built to last, and is constructed with magnabolted rivets, inert-power-insulated wires, matter composite shock dampers, gel injected airseals, and is dipped in preservative coatings. The KA-GAR can be bashed against a rock, dropped in mud, then rolled in sand and still cut as intended.
