PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION

Lew Ardellian is a man in his early thirties, standing just over six feet tall with the lean, athletic build of someone accustomed to long hours in a cockpit rather than a gymnasium. Years spent climbing maintenance ladders, hauling cargo, and enduring high-G maneuvers have given him a wiry strength that favors endurance over brute force.

His dark brown hair is kept medium-length and usually swept back with little concern for neatness, often left slightly disheveled after long shifts or extended flights. A perpetual shadow of stubble frames a sharp jawline, lending him a rugged, sleep-deprived appearance that seems more the result of demanding schedules than deliberate style.

  • [Compact Blaster Pistol
  • Utility Knife, Blade
  • "Brass" Knuckles
  • Boot Knife

PERSONALITY AND BELIEFS

Lew Ardellian is every bit the Corellian his surname suggests: quick with a grin, quicker with a comeback, and happiest when there's a throttle under his hand and a hyperspace route ahead of him. He has an instinctive confidence that borders on reckless, preferring bold action over endless deliberation. Rules, in his experience, are usually written by people who've never had to improvise at thirty thousand kilometers per second.

Beneath his easygoing swagger lies a quieter uncertainty. The vastness of the galaxy has a way of making even the most confident pilot wonder where he truly belongs. Lew often masks that doubt with humor, bravado, or another volunteer run into dangerous territory, but the search for purpose never leaves him. Every cargo haul, unexplored lane, and distant star system feels like it might bring him one step closer to discovering where he truly belongs.

/-/-/ Psychological Assessment Summary – Internal Use Only /-/-/

Employee Lew Ardellian exhibits the personality profile commonly associated with individuals of Corellian heritage: confident under pressure, highly adaptable, socially engaging, and inclined toward independent decision-making. Subject consistently demonstrates above-average initiative and problem-solving ability in dynamic flight environments, though this is occasionally accompanied by a willingness to circumvent established procedures when operational efficiency is perceived to be at risk.

Ardellian maintains a healthy skepticism toward centralized authority and corporate bureaucracy. While not overtly insubordinate, he responds more favorably to leaders who demonstrate practical competence than to those relying solely on organizational rank. Supervisory personnel are advised to provide clear mission objectives while allowing reasonable autonomy in execution. Peer evaluations indicate a strong sense of personal loyalty. Subject places significant value on crew cohesion and is known to assume personal risk to ensure the safety and success of fellow personnel. Financial incentives appear secondary to maintaining trust within his assigned team, making him a reliable asset in long-duration transport and hazardous logistics operations.

Behavioral observation suggests an underlying desire for personal purpose beyond routine freight operations. Subject frequently volunteers for exploratory, high-risk, or otherwise unconventional assignments, indicating a persistent drive to establish a meaningful place within the organization and the wider galaxy. While this motivation occasionally results in unnecessary risk-taking, it has also contributed to several successful mission outcomes under adverse conditions. Core personal values include personal freedom, earned trust, professional competence, and individual accountability. Subject demonstrates little tolerance for exploitation, corruption, or the abandonment of civilian or crew welfare, even where such actions may align with narrow corporate interests. This ethical consistency has occasionally resulted in friction with management but has simultaneously strengthened unit morale and operational reliability.

Personnel Evaluation: Ardellian is best utilized in assignments requiring initiative, adaptive thinking, and independent piloting capability. Subject performs optimally when afforded operational flexibility and when paired with crews capable of matching his informal communication style and decisive temperament. Continued monitoring is recommended to ensure independent judgment remains aligned with company objectives; however, overall psychological indicators support retention and advancement within flight operations.

STRENGTHS

Talented Pilot: Some might say it comes with the genetic territory, being of Corellian descent. Lew knows it's a lot more than that. Countless hours of flight time and numerous instances of trial and error have developed Lew's instincts behind the controls. Able to improvise on a dime, Lew is a quick problem solver.

Wiry: Due to how much time he spends in space, Lew's always cut a trim figure. Despite this, he's been exposed to high G forces and physical labor even as a pilot. These have hardened him, increasing his endurance and durability - he's a tough one.

WEAKNESSES

Overconfident: Because of his experience and time behind the stick, Lew can be overconfident. That leads him to take risks others wont, which may work in his favor sometimes but eventually the chickens come home to roost.

Wanderlust: For all his confidence and easygoing attitude, Lew isn't entirely sure what he's working toward. Flying keeps him moving, but it doesn't always give him a sense of purpose. He has a habit of volunteering for dangerous jobs or sticking his neck out for people because, deep down, he's hoping each new mission might be the one that finally makes him feel like he's found his place. That restlessness can leave him chasing opportunities that look meaningful in the moment, even when they come with more risk than they're worth.

HISTORY

Lew Ardellian was born on Talus, one of the inhabited worlds in the Corellian system. While close enough for Corellia's influence to shape nearly every aspect of life, Talus had its own quieter identity - a place of small settlements, freight depots, and generations of working families who supported the constant flow of trade throughout the sector. Lew grew up watching freighters disappear into the stars, dreaming of the day he'd be behind the controls of one himself.

By the age of twenty, Lew had signed on with Viceroy Orbital Logistics, a local shipping corporation. What started as a way to earn steady credits became a career spanning twelve years. Since then, he has transported everything from industrial machinery and medical supplies to high-value commercial freight across the Core, Mid Rim, and Outer Rim. His calm demeanor under pressure and willingness to tackle dangerous routes have earned him a reputation as a pilot who can be trusted to bring both his cargo and his crew home.
