Strengths:

• Deadly - Able to cut through all but lightsaber resistant materials
• Rare - Built back in an era where there was war with the Jedi, this saber has never been seen to the Jedi Order for a long time, giving Tersen an edge unless they have studied the history of the Old Republic. The design has been out of use for so long that most are unsure how it works anymore.
• Dual Phase - Due to the dual phase mechanism, the blade is able to be readjusted providing an edge in combat.
• Corrupted - All the hate and anger upon which Tersen put into this saber, it would make a Jedi or Light sided force user sick, and go mad. It give the wielder a mild since of dread, fear, and unease.

Weaknesses:

• Aged - due to the age of the saber, repairing it would be a task, many wouldn't take under. Tersen however is attached to this saber.
• Heavy - Because of antiquated construction methods, you could say your saber is heavier and thus harder to perform certain agile cuts & movements.
• Short Handle - Its short handle makes it harder to use as a throwing weapon. Also this makes it hard to make the heavier swings like with two hands
• Dark Side Aura- Because of how much of the dark side has been infused in this weapon, it isn't easy for Tersen to hide the fact he is a Sith by another force user. The corrupted nature of the saber is like a loud speaker screaming Sith.

Description: Built back in an age forgotten by most of this time. This saber has been with Tersen since he was a young acolyte on Korriban. It has seen combat during the Sith Empire/Old Republic wars. Also do to its age now, that makes it hard for Tersen to repair it with it's correct materials. It's blade is a violet purple, as back in Tersen's time, that was used by many Sith. So some have been confused with thinking he stole it from a Jedi in the current time. All history about this lightsaber has either been forgotten or lost, that which remains, are in old sith Holocrons, and parts that were untouched in the archives during the clone wars. Most history books say it vanished, never to been seen again along with it's user Tersen. Since a hyperspace accident sent both Tersen and the saber to present time, many people have yet to learn of it's great importance to the Sith.

How does this being an antiquated weapon give Tersen an edge, and what sort of edge does it give? We need to know this info, so that people can accurately counter or react to it in their posts.

Jedi Slayer- This saber has been bloodied in combat has been stained with blood, making it a force to reckoned with

Please remove this. It is more a descriptive bit and belongs there. Every weapon of war is technically this.

Light Saber Resistant Materials - Cannot penetrate Cortosis,Phrik,or other materials that can withstand a blade of a lightsaber.

This is not a weakness, but a common feature. Please remove it from weaknesses. No sense cluttering it, right?

This is a strength, rather than weakness. Please move it to the Strength listing, or remove it. I would also recommend better defining what sort of effect it has. Rather than making them go mad and sick, consider it granting a very mild form of an aura of uneasiness. I am sure that fits very closely what you want by the wording, but just remember, without any development behind it, the effect will be minimal at best. However if you want a stronger effect, we can discuss that and what, if any development might be required.

Ancient design - Anyone besides Tersen to pick up this saber would find it little more than a trophy, and wouldn't know how to use it.

Again, this is more a strength than a weakness. Also, except the protosaber, lightsaber designs have been fairly standard for millenia. I would suggest removing this for those two reasons.


The 'Aged' weakness is really more what we need on a submission here. That's great. I would encourage you to come up with 1-2 more sold weaknesses. If you want, I'm putting a list here of suggestions to give you an idea of what might help it pass muster. It's just suggestions, so feel free to use all, one, or none and make your own up! Excellent start though!

Weaknesses:

• Heavy - Because of antiquated construction methods, you could say your saber is heavier and thus harder to perform certain agile cuts & movements.
• Dark Side Aura- Because of the effects of the Aura of Unease and the years seeped in the Dark Side, it gives off a residual Dark Side presence, causing the holder to be easier to detect and sense alignment of.
• Short Handle - By the picture, the handle is short. This could be coupled with a shorter blade in default setting, or just by itself, and thus give it less range without adjustment.
• Unbalanced - Could pair great with 'Heavy', and because of the blades/flanges at the top, mean it further slows down movement and hinder agile cuts and such.

Again, let me know what if any questions or concerns you have. This is an excellent start to a lightsaber, they are rather intimidating pieces to undertake and do right!
