Wu looked at her and gave a nod of her head as she was prepared to get down there and go for the gaps. She sent what thoughts of 'Yes' she could to Kurenai as the blaster rifle was made to fire energy and generate heat. it scorched what it impacts and even plated armored scales would be something that could give under such an assault eventually. She held her free hand up for the moment and instead of grabbing her saber she started to count down from five... four.... three... two... one... Wu dropped down and the snap hiss came as the sabers blade appeared. A pale purple almost like lavender. The hilt gleaming and she planded on the back, between two of the thick spines wrapping an arm to get down low and star slashing towards sections of the spines.

Kurenai felt the small confirmation from Wu, her hands cocking back on the LMG's, checking the site before turning back to the woman, giving a firm nod before the countdown began. Leaping from her position Kurenai ignited her own blade, illuminating the area in a dark blood orange as she touched the ground, whipping her weapon around to face the beast unloading a hail of blaster bolts. The red glowing heated plasma bounce upon the creatures body, singing it but not taking it down right away but definitely causing pain, and grabbing the attention of beasts attention away from the small Jin. The minute she landed the Dark Jedi had to leap back, avoiding a large swing from the beast, turning its back to Wu, focusing on the annoyance that dare interrupt its meal.

She was slashing and could feel the attack there now. Seeing the blade of Kurenai it was not what she expected... mostly being something other then red.... strange for most of the darksiders when she was moving around gripping the spine. She dug the blade into the armor plate between and the smell of burning meat came to her nostrils.Wu cringed but she stayed there gripping one fo the plates and pulling at it with her hands and bodyweight as the creature thrashed with Kurenai attacking it with her rifle. THe screams and sounds that it was making thrash harder before she almost got thrown off of the creature. Wanting to protect herself when she reached down to pry a section of the armor plate up and dug her blade into the meat.

Many did see Kurenai blade as odd, but it was a sign that she had yet to fully embrace the dark, keeping the light just in grasp to prevent herself from becoming like the Sith Lords she hated. The sent of burning flesh filling the cave as the two force users battled with the large beast, Kurenai having to roll out of the creature large sweeping punches more then a few times as it thrashes about, "this is taking to long, keep at it I am going to try something". Laying down her weapon for a moment Kurenai stood her ground, raising her hands as the beast swung against, using telekinesis to push back on the arm, bringing it to a small stop just inches from her face. Quickly the woman shifted her weight, wrapping around the invisible hands on the beasts upper arms and legs, trying to hold it in place while Wu made the finishing blow, "get it down fast, not sure how long I can take it".

Wu could fel the thrashing and movement stop as she looked at what Kurenai was doing with a nod of her head to that. She was moving quickly with a nod of her head bringing the blade across the seam of the armor plating that the beast had. She was slicing it away, taking out the parts of it until her eyes flicked back and forth towards the head of the creature. She brought it out and one of the arms was almost cleaved off. Sagging and spilling fresh blood across where it tore the flesh and muslce under its own weight....Roars were coming from the creature before she brought the saber around to slash a tusk and plunge the saber into its eye with a grunt. She got thrown to the side but rolled when she impacted the ground with a nod of her head seeing the creatures arm hanging limply there and unable to really move. "That should help." She tried to join in and was using the force to bolster Kurenai and hold the creature at bay as it would and should be more dangerous now... backed into a corner and injured as it were.

​Kurenai gritted her teeth as the beast tried to break free, the pain it was suffering as Wu's blade sliced through its back armor plating, blood spraying out all over the place, looking rather delicious. What was surprising was the woman ruthless attacking, almost almost cutting the beasts arm clean off, bone muscle and flesh being exposed in a rather gruesome manner. The best pull became weaker and weaker as Wu was finally thrown off, slumping down slightly, now half blind and losing a lot of blood, but was not giving up, instincts trying to make one desperate attempt to get out, "Hold it here I have a plan". Letting go of her force push Kurenai brought the Nagamaki to bear, holding it like a throwing spear, doing just as it look, hurling the long bladed weapon at the beast, the sharp edge slicing through its other eye, reaching into the brain, silencing it's roars.

She could feel the shift and moved with it, allowing the force to reinforce the beast being held in place before the woman produced a weapon and flung it into the creatures eye. Everything then went silent for a moment while she felt the pounding of her heart in her chest. The sound almost drowning her out until she lowered her hands with her saber going back to her belt. Deactiving with a hiss until the jedi master remained behind. "That was intense and different. "She had never encountered such a creature before, never seen something so massive before she was walking around to look at it. "What was it? Do you know?" She was curious and if it was here protecting something then it would have to be something that was important to someone.

Kurenai used the force to slowly rip the weapon out of the dead beasts eye, whipping the bloody blade against a small cloth she kept, "Intense, yes, different, well when I was a hunter back in the day this was considered a regular thing, but nice to see it again". Kurenai had fought all manner of beasts in the past, though in a different style, back then not having anywhere near as much power over her force abilities as now, but never the least taking down some large prey. Looking closer she inspected the dead beast, "I think it may be a Terentateks, though if it was guarding anything I would not really know, never was one much for animal behavior and such". Though such a hypothesis was not false, such animals if controlled by the force or near sentient sometimes did guard or act as protectors for certain things, and if the case was such here, what was it hiding?

Wu gave her a nod of her head looking at the creature and it could be something they come back for with a small team. They might be able to study it and improve the jedi's knowledge of the creatures.. or at least of what is so close to their new home. She also turned to lok at what was there with a nod of her head, She was moving over towards the entrance to the place the other body was near. Stone worked into the rock but reinforced with metal beams to keep it up and strung with lighting to illuminate parts of it. She started heading inside as her hands went to her saber but she could feel something very different here. It was colder... colder then it should have been and she breathed out seeing the air in front of herself. "Well that is strange." It was almost like being out in winter now.

Leaving the dead body behind Kurenai turned her attention back to the elaborate stone work and decoration that dotted the cave, having to walk around the first dead beast towards the strange entrance. That was not all though, steel works and lights that loomed throughout the work, the dark side presence still emanating from within its walls, the chilling sensation filling the atmosphere, dampness lining the hallways. "Very odd, but perhaps the dark side may be responsible this, that and how deep we are now, best be on guard for anything", she had a bad feeling about this, either that of flash back to the many battles that took place of frozen tundra worlds... not very fun.

She had to agree and they were coming to it, they were able to see some parts of it when Wu came into another chamber. Statues that looked like sith were standing there before she moved. Holding the saber and the chamber had several doors with stone that had fallen in. THey were looking over at everything and she saw it, a shrone to something that had been brought here. A black stone suspended betwen four golden crystal rods. The bodies around it seemed to be encased in a cocoon like husk before she was looking over at it and could feel it. Ther was the darkside of the force itself around the thing she could see. Where they were all looking with the jedi master stopping short of it. "THis is what I am feeling."

Going further into the cave Kurenai's eyes gazed upon the many statues lining the hallway, much different from the Jedi, while those inspired and looked to protect, these had an sinister judgmental feeling of dread to them. "This, is a Sith temple, no doubt about it, but there is something else to this place", she remarked gazing at the suspended box on golden rods, but more noticeably those cocooned bodies, the sight making Kurenai freeze, "Wu wait, don't take another step, I have a feeling some rearing spiders may be around". Though native to Endor said spider through smuggling means found their way across the galaxy, the new Jedi tropical home world probably being heaven for them. As for the dark side, well it felt familiar some how, "I am not to sure but something feels oddly familiar about this feeling".

Wu stopped when she was looking at it and it was enticing to try and grab it. She wanted to be careful but looked down and around at the bodies giving a nod to Kurenai before she spoke. "Alright but what is familiar about it? Have you been here before?" She was curious but asking a million questions would only be bad.. asking the main one of if she knew the place could mean she knew how to deactivate any traps. THe spider thing if she knew they were here it brought up a dozen more questions about what the woman had done previously. What if she had helped bring them here and seen this place before... could be a trap and her mind was racing off a mile a minute.

Kurenai shook her head slightly at Wu's question, herself slowly making way past the bodies and other sticky/potential traps, "I have been on this world many times in my life, but never this cave, nor so deep under ground" "As for this feeling, it is old, very old from when I was young, over 800 years ago from what I can remember, but just can't seem to place my finger on it". That may have narrowed the search down for some but she had not idea what type of force object where around back then, having very little knowledge about the mystical power that she had repressed out of fear. Things just seemed to becoming even more complicated, and the ever present threat of the spiders was still looming above them, clearing the beasts waiting for someone to try and make a grab for what ever lay withing her grasp.

"Well then we shall just have to find out won't we." She said it with a look on her face when she was standing there and trying to think of a way that they might be able to properly get the case to them... or call out and lure the beasties that could be wanting to attack them if they took the case.... Hmm her finger tapped her chin and she spoke. "Well we can work on it, setting aside the whole evil presence thing. We should be able to get it with the force maybe.. or that blade of yours.. it has better reach then mine and if you can knock it loose. I can grab it and then we can try and avoid luring out the beasties or we can fight them but on our terms."

Just wing it, sounded like a decent plan, half her life seemed to be winging it and seeing what happens, "the spiders of what ever is here may be attracted to the force, but using my Nagamaki may work, it sounds like a decent plan though, be ready for action, things cane go south very quickly". Slowly steeping forward Kurenai once again expected her arms, the spear length sword edging closer to the suspended container, it blade gently tapping against the surface, her eye glancing towards Wu for a moment. "On three... one... two... three", with quick powerful movement Kurenai lifted the box up with the end of her blade, dislodging it from it's placement, herself quickly taking a step back, anticipating an assault from the beast which lurked in the shadow. "Grab it and lets get to higher ground", she called out, a firm grip on the weapons staff, s sense of danger emanating through the force.

She looked at her and gave a nod of her head to it. She was ready as they started counting it all down. The blade knocking it over while she used the force and focused the energies to make a cushion that filled the area. Allowing it ot go to the holes and keep them closed, allowing it to cushion the fall and hold the case in place in the air when she pulled at it. To get it within range for Kurenai to get. "Got it." She was ready for them to get to higher ground and dropped the force energies while she was thinking about it and moved back not takiong her eyes off of the wall or the shadows where she could look and see if any of the things were going to come out after them.

The seconds seemed to go by at a very slow rate while Kurenai waited for the box to be collected by the short Jin Jedi, her guards no lowering one bit as the shadowy figures slowly decedent upon the two. "I've got a plan, stay here on the high ground", moving her hand Lurenai summoned a large fire ball, letting the flames run out of her hand, flowing into the floor like water, using the other hand to shaping it via telekinesis. If the spiders where to approached they would find a rather hot wall of flame in the way of their prey, but Kurenai knew the beasts would not stop there, keeping her blaster raised for the sight of the creatures beady little eyes.

She gave it a nod of her head when she finished bringing it over and the sound of the creatures were coming. The wal of flame surprising them when the beings arrived. Thick legged spiders that shrieked coming forward and she pushed the force to throw them back itno the fire as the hair on their bodies became enflamed. Wu was moving back and held the case between her hands while she looked at the woman. "I don't have as much movement with this case. It is heavier then it looks." Where she was going though was back against one of the walls with a look on her face. Putting it under her arm and extending her hand to force push and blast the creatures.

Kurenai glanced her head to the side at Wu's comment, "if it is heavy let me carrying it, I am much stronger then I look, besides you have a greater array of for powers, no"? The main reason fro Kurenai's assertion to master was due to being a master of many CQC forms, spear fighting ans sword fighting, even if she had yet to master more then one saber for or a substantial array of powers. Reaching forwards she would hold out her arms in a way to take the box off Wu, the burning flames down below only able to hold the spiders for so long, "if we can make it back up o the entrance we may be able to seal the temples entrance off, though myself like to preserve history this place is just to much of a threat at the moment".
