Description
There is nothing more synonymous to the Mando'ade than their armor. The similarity marks them as a collective, as a people, delivering a universal visage of their people. Yet each suit is as different and unique as the one whom wears it. Forged by Beskar'goran on Manda'yaim, Teroch's armor began life as most of it's kind. Through years and countless battles it grew, changed, becoming what it is now. For Beskar'gam itself is a look into the heart of it's bearer. A reflection of his journey from adiik to verd.

Teroch found it important that he be able to adapt to any situation that arise. Having found himself in one too many situations where a slight change would have made things easier. The modifiable nature of the armor would come into play several times in his younger years of mercenary work. Tracking targets required a different skill-set than the battlefield, different equipment. Thus Teroch began prepping his armor for specific engagements to increase the likelihood of success.

Modifications vary in range and impact. Mounts and rails along the armor to be outfitted with weaponry as well as auxiliary equipment. Most always having a balance of both the aforementioned equipped. The color-scheme was taken from arguably the most recognized of the Mando'ade, Boba Fett. Who Teroch idolizes as both a person and cultural hero.

Strengths:

  • Lightsaber Resistant- Beskar plating offers the armor a great deal of additional protection from Lightsaber strikes.
  • Blaster Resistant- Beskar, Mandalorian Steel, and Armorweave, add a reflection and absorption factor to incoming blaster fire.
  • Modularity- The multipurpose nature of the armor allows for modification to suit whatever the situation calls for.
Weaknesses:
  • Jointed Plating- Joints where armored plates meet create critical weak points in the armor's defenses.
  • Restricted Movement Range- Physical range of motion restricted to some degree.
  • Electromagnetic Pulse- The armor offers no resistance against incoming EMP charges.
Out of Character Information
Intent:
  • To provide Teroch with a signature suit of Beskar'gam to develop alongside him.
  • To provide Teroch with the opportunity and cause to lessen his weaknesses with Dev and modding.

Quality: Plates: 8 Armorweave: 6
  • The Quality ratings have been phased out. Please see the Armor template for the new Resistances field, add it, and fill it out appropriately.
  • Once you've made this change and have the resistances listed out plainly, we can move on with the judgment proper.
This is the actual author of the image. Please endeavor to credit the artist directly if you can.

Finally, please bump the Weight up a few notches. Beskar isn't light, and you've got plenty of additional systems added on top. From the Armor template:

Armor made of true Mandalorian iron, or a full set of combat gear for a soldier in the field, can be around 25kg.

No problem. :)

Lightsabers: Average

  • These two things don't really fit together. Alongside phrik, beskar is as ls-resistant as it gets. Why is it only Average?
  • If that's meant to convey that beskar plates aren't used everywhere, you're free to expand with a description beside the rating itself.

Other: Low
  • Given your multitude of additional systems, it would do well to balance the armor if you added a vulnerability to EMP/Ion attacks to the Weaknesses.

Teroch Werda said:
Restricted Movement Range- Full range of movement is limited without the use of built in systems.
  • This weakness seems to contradict itself in the same sentence. The movement is limited... unless the wearer uses the built-in systems? However, the wearer will always be using the built-in systems. Please clarify this to constitute a viable Weakness. Given the armor's overall weight, the wearer won't be among the most mobile in combat; not to mention they would tire out faster.

All edits made.

As per the advice of another I decreased the weight from 25kg to 20kg. The logic behind this being that the armor is comprised mostly of exchangeable plates and not a solid suit.
