Tenloss Warrior Helm

Intent: To create a tough, well designed helmet and helmet system that is compatible with most known armor styles and types to interested parties with a primary focus on bounty hunters, mercenaries, and collectors.
Manufacturer: Tenloss Corporation
Affiliation: Tenloss Corporation, Open Market
Modularity: Tenloss does not currently support or produce any upgrades or customization packages for the helmet. The only customization available is in paint/color schemes and sizing the helmet to the individual.
Production: Limited (Each helmet is made for the individual and as such is made to order)
Material: Durasteel
Description: Upon seeing how many elite mercenaries and bounty hunters rely on technology and tracking systems just as much as intuition and raw guts, Tenloss opted to find a potential source of revenue among such individuals by designing, testing, and manufacturing the Tenloss Warrior Helm.

Designed to compete with other, top notch helmet and helmet systems, the Tenloss R&D department poured themselves into the product. Capable of taking direct hits from all but the heaviest of weapons, the Warrior Helm places protection and user friendliness to the fore. The helmet features a variety of systems allowing the user a range of abilities from simple target tracking to a small, two hour air scrubber built into the helmet for void or gas mask use. The helmet is versatile and compatible with many different armor types. Overall, the Warrior Helm is the pinnacle of engineering and something any and every bounty hunter, mercenary, or interested individual should own.

The Helm does have faults, however. The head gear is heavy and can cause discomfort after long term use. The design is also close fitting to the head and face to maximize protection, but in order to achieve this, the buyer must have their head measured so that the Helm can be fitted properly. For those who aren't used to complex HUDs, the helmet can cause sensory overload to the user causing distractions and other issues in combat. Finally, the helmet is very expensive, meaning that very few will be able to afford the helmet.

Strengths:

  • Highly durable and extremely protective

  • User friendly

  • Wide variety of systems built into the helmet

  • Compatible with many, other armor types.

Weaknesses:

  • Very heavy and can cause discomfort after prolonged use.

  • Requires custom fitting for maximized protection.

  • Without practice, the user can suffer sensory overload

  • Very expensive, limiting who can afford it.
