STRENGTHS

• Deadly Spearhead: The Tenacious-class has heavy firepower, formidable defensibility, and surprising speed for size. Combined, these attributes mark a highly capable battlecruiser-type vessel able to charge headlong into enemy lines while weathering retaliatory blows.
  
  
• Heavy Complement: With generous hangar space, the Tenacious-class can deploy numerous starfighter squadrons to support their spearhead assaults. This also allows the Heavy Star Destroyer to operate independently on deep space patrols, or support planetary assaults.

WEAKNESSES

• No Return: Nearly all the Tenacious-class’s thrust potential is to the rear. While equipped with maneuvering thrusters - because of course it would - they are too slow to afford the Heavy Star Destroyer sudden maneuvering. Basically, every charge is a commitment - whether or not it was the correct decision.
  
  
• Weak Aft: Due to sporting massive engines, the Tenacious-class lacks any sort of aft-directed weapons. There are no batteries, and very few point defense weapons to speak of. This makes the engines quite vulnerable to shield-penetrating weapons, and entirely vulnerable should the shields be disabled altogether. This is especially exploitative given the ship’s nature is to charge at enemy lines.

DESCRIPTION

Sitting somewhere between a battlecruiser and a heavy carrier, the Tenacious-class is designed to fill multiple roles in the Sith Covenant fleets. It could be a command ship, forming the center of a naval squadron. It can operate alone, embarking on deep space patrols. It can support planetary assaults or independently carry out invasions of backwater worlds.

But make no mistake - this isn’t a master of none.

Where the Tenacious-class truly excels is as a linebreaker. A heavy warship capable of charging headlong into enemy fleets, unleashing overwhelming firepower while soaking up retaliatory blows. The warship is not invincible, of course, but when deployed correctly, the Tenacious-class is a tone setter, controlling the flow of battle and creating tactical opportunities.

That last part is essential… because while the Tenacious-class can charge in, it can’t exactly turn around. Every charge is a commitment. A critical decision that can afford no error in judgment. When successful, the Tenacious-class decides the outcome of battles. When not… Well, let’s just say the captain is in for an early retirement.
