GENERAL INFORMATION

• Unit Name: Temerurian Stormtroopers

• Description: The Temerurian Stormtroopers are a specialized regular infantry unit utilized by the Final Dawn. Comprised entirely of a genetically engineered human offshoot species known as the Temerurians, they represent the core of the Final Dawn's ever-growing Stormtrooper Corps and exist to reduce the Final Dawn's reliance on Special Forces units as their primary means of power projection for their land-based forces. Owing to their special conditioning, the Temerurian Stormtroopers are well disciplined and obedient, in addition to being very reliable and capable on the battlefield, and resistant to most forms of interrogation, torture and coercion. These factors alone make the Temerurian Stormtrooper an elite force in itself, capable of enforcing the Final Dawn's in the face of any obstacles no matter how great they are.

  • Shock Infantry & Rapid Assault: The primary role of the Temerurian Stormtroopers is to lead assaults, seize strategic objectives, and break enemy lines through aggressive, disciplined movement. They are trained to rapidly deploy from Imperial Gunships directly into active combat zones to overwhelm resistance before a planetary defence can solidify.
  • Shipboard Defence & Boarding Actions: Temerurian Stormtroopers can also be utilized to protect the warships of the Final Dawn Navy and conduct major boarding actions. Their sealed armour allows them to operate in the vacuum of space for short periods, making them ideal for breaching enemy vessels or defending against boarders in pressurized or unpressurized environments.
  • Urban Pacification: Temerurian Stormtroopers are often deployed to industrial hubs and major cities to enforce martial law. There, they can be found conducting patrols, manning checkpoints, and neutralizing insurgent cells within dense population centers where heavy artillery or orbital bombardment would be counterproductive in achieving strategic goals

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
When the Imperial Confederation collapsed, Supreme Commander Marlon Sularen quickly moved forth to consolidate all remaining military assets of the Confederation to designated strongholds to prepare for the reorganization and revitalization of Imperial power in the Outer Rim. However, as one would expect from the collapse of an Imperial galactic government, not all military units followed Sularen's commands. Some officers established themselves as local warlords and set up their own fiefdoms, while others defected for greener pastures, seeking opportunities with other Imperial factions.

To make matters worse, rival factions like the Mandalorians and the Sith Order struck against Imperial worlds such as Lianna and Tion, further diminishing the strength of the remaining military forces that were at Sularen's disposal. However, as the corpse of the Confederation was trampled by both rivals and opportunists, Sularen began planting the seeds for the re-emergence of Imperial power in the galaxy in the form of his Neo-Imperialist Final Dawn.

After secret negotiations with the Trade Federation, Marlon Sularen was able to secure a considerable number of batches of genetically-enhanced Human offshoots known as Temerurians to rapidly build the core of a new Stormtrooper Corps for the Final Dawn. With these batches of Temerurians, Sularen would be able to replace the losses suffered at the hands of defections and battles with a new force of loyal and capable soldiers.

Thanks to their conditioning, the Temerurian Stormtroopers have already proven themselves to be well disciplined and obedient in addition to being very reliable and capable on the battlefield, and resistant to most forms of interrogation, torture and coercion. These traits combined would make the Temerurian Stormtroopers an effective fighting force that would soon play a key role in the Final Dawn's campaign against the new galactic order that has been quick to move to suppress Imperialism across the galaxy since it's emergence.
