Technomancy?

Technomancy is defined as technology so advanced it seems magical in nature but is in fact science. I bring this up because my Species Sub the Necropsi are Extremely technosavy and Ive been wondering how to display this and one way is through Technomancy.

Ex: Avengers 2: Age of Ultron. Ultron is depicted several times raising his hand and somehow the Earth ( Earth as in dirt and ground ) is lifted up. It looks like he has powers but its some technology that gives him the power. ( Captain America vs Ultron is the scene specifically )

And Specifically im not sure how his odd gravity repulsion can be explained and that is sorta a issue. See what im trying to do and what im getting stuck on?

How do you explain technology and ideas in detail when its all just a concept and too advanced to be understood? Cuz I got alot of ideas i just cant find words for them. So is their anything like this in starwars, So far the only thing ive found that relates is personal energy shields.

Id love to hear thoughts, opinions & advice about this topic.

Note: I'm not trying to bring in a false force or bring in more space magic. Everything is solely based on sciences (( Had to say that.... Was sensing someone was going to mention the werid space powers in Mass effect <_< ))

I created this after watching Age of Ultron, it is 100% capable of doing exactly what Ultron did in the movie. That is why I made it.

If you poke around enough there's basically a way to create everything you could ever think of in SW. Lots of things already have canon precedent, and the Factory lets us take it one step further.

Primarily, I would consider Technomancy the broad spectrum of powers which are used to effect technology. For example in white wolf's Mage: the Ascension, the Technocracy, Virtual Adepts and the Sons of Ether all perform schools of technomancy... rather than using Sacred Machines / Deus ex Machina which is more what I think you're going for,

In star wars, Mechu Deru, which is what Orphen is a primary user of, is basically technopathy... which would be considered Technomancy.

Just my two cents on the term. <3

The answer you're looking for is: Techno'babble. The more you have of it, the better your magical submission appears to be. Ex: The whizpopper engine worked by absorbing the excess float gravity from the native nuclear micro-metrics found in nature. Thus creating a DaVinci Field equal to the weight of the mental flux excursion numbers while simultaneously baking bread in the engine's oven. The doctors at the Brody Academy called this rare scientific phenomenon, The Tefka Effect. Essentially, this is why the car can fly. (See. Technobabble. Easy as pie.)

To note. You can pretty much build anything in the Factory with enough effort, real science, fake science, and clever links to similar things on the Wookiee. :D

I see.

[member="Braith"], I got several loose Ideas atm, I dont feel comfy throwing them out at this time. All I can say is that is will be heavily focused around crystals... Which is not saying much.

[member="Orphen"] Technomancy's definition and swing both ways.

Thx for the feed back everyone.
