Originally designed to be used as an Imperial Starfighter that never saw the light of day, the TE-003, known as the "Tri-bird," is the repurposing of an old concept that saw an interperitation of the Droid Tri-fighter for the Imperial Navy. While this original concept would never get off the ground, Drekker Industries would retain it's concept, beginning to produce it as a brand new like hundreds of years later in 903 ABY, following the Second Great Hyperspace War. The Tri-bird is specialized for high speed, high turning dogfighting, as the droid brain assistant allows for increaced pilot efficiency at higher speeds. While it has a lower armament and weaker on-board shielding, the vessel makes up for it by being faster than the competition. While the droid brain greatly assists the pilot, there is a notable higher bar of skill for the vessel. This is an expensive starfighter intended to be bought up by the highest bidder and used in war.
