STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES

Strengths:

Hunter: T’Chullu was trained in the arts of hunting and tracking from an early age. If he wants to track or find someone, he can and will.

Survivalist: Years of surviving the harsh worlds of Haruun Kal, and the shockboxing pits of Corucscant have forged the identity of a man with the wits and skill to live. He may not be the best at any one thing, but he does know how to survive.

Pelekotan: His connection with the Force is strong, although built on a bedrock of using his passion and connection to life to augment his agility.

Nimble: Years of traversing a jungle world have made him quite the acrobat, and it reflects in combat.

Korun: He has a natural resistance to most toxins, and is generally more durable than the average human.

Shockboxer: While he was a warrior in his Ghosh, T’Chullu’s master gave him the finest training in shockboxing to see his investment life to earn him more credits.

Affinity for animals: The man loves, and respects all life, and it shows in how he can use the Force to bond with any animal.

Weakenesses:

Pelekotan: T’Chullu’s knowledge and application of the Force is incredibly limited, and he can tire out quickly due to his lack of control.

Korun: He was born on Haruun Kal, the world has zero technology. This means even the most rudimentary technology is beyond his grasp. Even after five years of slavery, his basic is still a struggle for him.

Broke: The man just recently escaped, and has the clothes on his back.

Shades of the past: Watching your entire family burnt to death by slavers, it has closed him off from most life, making him unapproachable.

Not the Best: Ever heard the old saying, “Jack of all trades, master of none?”

APPEARANCE:

Like most Korunnai, T’Chullu is dark of skin and hair color. Eyes the shade of mocha stand out against his chiseled face, that alternates between clean shaven and bearded. Years of surviving the harsh world of Haruun Kal, and shockboxing have given him a chiseled frame, but still lean and quick. T’Chullu is clad simply in the gray pants and gray shirt he was given by his Master, though under the simple garb he is covered in tattoos from his days as a hunter and brands from his years of slavery.

His only singular possession from his days in the Gnosh, is the simple ring he fashioned from an ancient starship to mark his love for his wife, Shuri.

BIOGRAPHY:

Once home to Mace Windu centuries ago, the dense jungles the Jedi Master once knew had changed after his death. Imperial bombardments, refugees, resource wars, and of course the Gulag plague had forever changed the world of Haruun Kal. It’s lush jungles still mostly intact, though many “mahili mashimos” existed on the world, the word meaning “hollow place” in Korunnai. These places were where no life existed, places where the bombs and proton torpedoes and other horrors of war had left their scars. Civil war had erupted, and soon the central government of the world that had been on the precipice of advancement had fallen even further into it’s tribe culture. Survivors from offworld had been sold as slaves, or bred within the tribes to keep inbreeding from being a problem due to the severely reduced population.

This made “pure” Korunnai a valuable and rare asset.

Once a purely Force sensitive race, or the Pelekotan as they called it, the Korunnai were losing their abilities through outside breeding. Akk dogs that once could bond with any of them ran wild, and the few that still possessed a connection to the Pelekotan were marked at birth and raised by the resident lor pelek, or jungle master in Korunnai, to be trained in it’s ways. T’Chullu Vastor was on such infant who was taken by the lor pelek to be trained in how to bond with the Akk dogs and become a hunter for the village.

T’Chullu’s upbringing was much different than most Korunnai, but the four pillars still held true even if he was partially separated by his connection to the Pelekotan. Honor, duty, family, and the herd were central in every action, and lesson the boy learned. From the moment he could walk, he was set out into the harsh jungles of Haruun Kal, to learn how to master his world. By the time he was ten years old, he was far and above the best hunter in the village and being eyed as a potential lor pelek once the current one died. Once he was thirteen, he had become a man in his own right, and was firmly head of his family after his father’s passing. In Korunnai culture, death was merely the next step. One didn’t mourn the dead, they simply respected their life in their deeds and carried on their legacy.

Married by the time he was fifteen to his childhood love, Shuri, T’Chullu’s life was heading towards the Korun ideal. Many times he had had to defend his village, the word of his deeds his legacy already, due to the metal eating fungus on the world. With scarce resources, no technology, but the Pelekotan on his side, there was nothing the warrior couldn’t or wouldn’t do for his tribe. Whispers in the tribe by the time he was 18, were that he may be up for the title of Gnosh as well. Who better to lead the tribe than the very man who protected them from outsiders, the other tribes, and the creatures of the world? A father at this point to twin daughters, who were being trained as well by the lor pelek, his legacy was cemented in the Gnosh.

Then, they came from the sky.

Warriors, in metal that managed to resist the fungus, protected by strange auras not of the Pelekotan. His people joined with other villages, but the raiding parties were too strong to overcome. T’Chullu himself lead an attack on their encampment, but it only led to the loss of many Akk dogs and what few hunters the area had left. Barely escaping back to his own Gnosh, he found they had already been conquered. Seeing his wife and children with the others, trapped, something inside the man snapped and in a fury he charged and attacked the leader. Despite his abilities, he gave the helmed warrior a challenge before being put down and put with the other adult and child males.
At that moment, horror began, and his life was destroyed.

Deprived of food, he watched in horror with his brothers as they murded his loyal Akk dogs for food. Their deaths rocked the man to the core, for he could feel their bond through the Pelekotan, their suffering was his. During the nights, he could hear the warriors having their way with the women of the village, including his mother and wife. The next morning, when he saw Shuri, her beautiful head had been shaved and she had been beaten. That broken image of her holding their children haunted him. In a language he didn’t understand, the leader addressed the males. T’Chullu understood the meaning, they didn’t need the women or the children. They had attacked for the males. Whatever was left of the proud warrior died the moment he saw his family, including his children burned to death in the cage adjacent.

Five years passed..

Now a shockboxer on Coruscant for the One Sith, or at least a pet for one of their nobles. The proud warrior had made a name for himself in the black market fights that were entertainment for those with an insatiable bloodlust. T’Chullu had been named Drez the Destroyer by his master, for he had won the Sith Lord many credits. With the attack on Coruscant finally giving him a chance at freedom, the hunter ran out into a world he didn’t understand, the events from five years earlier always on his mind.
