Taygeta grew up in Theed with high expectations from her parents to follow in their footsteps and become a doctor herself. She excelled in school with among the best GPAs in her class, to the point that she was considered gifted by third grade and was advanced ahead of her age group in educational grades twice. She graduated high school at 16 with two years of college credit under her belt via a dual-enrollment programme.
Upon acceptance to Theed University, She dove straight into biological sciences, which is where her life took a turn on the intended road to medical school. She found a fascination with the mechanics of life and made the decision to become a geneticist. She discovered that she is Force-Sensitive through her Midichlorian count being above the 5,500 per cell threshold, which came as a curiosity to her, but wasn't something she'd openly advertise. However, she didn't realise that her lab work could be monitored by the planet's occupiers....
After graduation, Dr. Lightkeeper was about to apply for work in the University's genetics lab when someone with a vested interest in her and her blood work results began stalking her. An offhanded response on a Holonet social media thread, mentioning her fear and the lab results, resulted in a conflict between a Jedi and the dark side stalker. Taygeta was taken from Naboo, the only home she had ever known, and away from the threat...
