Tantorus is 67% covered by land with a single large ocean located in the Southern hemisphere as well as smaller seas peppering the planet.

Culture: With the Rakatan Infinite Empire going extinct and their Empire destroyed, the Sith culture thrived on this backwater planet. With the population almost entirely made up of Sith, their culture remained basically the same as any other Sith world. Kissai Priests led the world as the population's lords, with many kingdoms dotting the planet. The strict caste system of the Sith remained in place with Kissai Priests leading, Zuguruk Engineers building and progressing, Massassi Warriors defending and hunting, and then Slaves who served their lords.
Technology: Tantorian technological levels haven't reached the galactic standard yet. Many of the most recent kingdoms still use outdated equipment and weaponry. However, many of their devices and weapons are infused with the Dark Side of the Force to give them boosted abilities. There are no traces of Rakatan technology, either. The Sith deemed that they were blasphemous in nature and destroyed every bit of it they could find.
History: Tantorus was discovered in the beginning by the emerging Rakatan Infinite Empire. The planet was uninhabited save for the vast amount of vegetation and fierce wildlife. With vast lumber, mining, and other resource opportunities, the Rakatan Empire labeled this world as a slave world and began to bring slaves to strip the planet of resources. Almost all of the slaves were Sith, the naturally Force sensitive species. The Sith, after many failed rebellions, grudgingly submitted to the will of their new Masters. This hard labor went on for many years, the captive Sith waiting and praying for their beloved Sith Lords to come and free them so that they could finally fight back. Their prayers were answered, years later. With the Rakatan Empire crumbling, the emerging Sith powerhouse struck back in other parts of the galaxy. A Sith Lord and his army of Massassi took notice of the millions of Force sensitives on the single planet, so they investigated only to find their people still enslaved.
This particular Lord happened to be a human, extremely rare at the time. His prowess in battle and use of the Force caught the eye of his Lord, who challenged him for fun. A deathmatch ensued, resulting in the young human defeating his challenger. The Sith were shocked, this was the first time an outsider had defeated one of their Lords using the Force. The human was hailed as a Sith Lord and led many conquests on Korriban when the Rakatans began to weaken. Now he ventured forth through the stars, traveling extremely far away from Korriban. The Lord spotted an anomaly in the Force, so did his army of Massassi warriors. Their investigation proved fruitful as they discovered millions of their people still held in captivity by the Rakatans.
A huge battle ensued that day, tens of thousands died, but the freed Sith rejoiced. They prayers had finally been answered as a new Sith Lord came to their aid. They worshiped, praised, and devoted their lives and their future generations to the Sith Lord. But, the Lord had to depart almost immediately. His weakened army had found the Rakatan homeworld nearby and he planned to strike, so he did. Nothing was heard from the Lord or his army again except for the message he left to the Tantorian population, "Wait for me, I will return." And so, the Sith waited. Waiting years and years for their savior to return to and lead them once again. But he never came.
The increasingly discouraged people began to break apart, many civil wars starting over who should rule in the absence of their Lord so numerous kingdoms were born. Their culture still intact, their moral low, and their numbers low; the Sith people of Tantorus still remain waiting for their Lord to return.

Intent: The purpose of this world is to serve as a reemergence of the Sith race and culture. The prophecy listed in the history will serve as a basis for many future plots for anyone to partake. This world is also meant to be a starting ground for new Minor or Major factions.
