A harsh reminder that the nomadic life claims those who live it and that even the most firm of their kind where the markings of the sun-baked world upon them. He lives his life with purpose and gains the respect he expects from those around him. His mind moves beyond his tribal trappings, looking to the stars and wishing to see them, yet it is the how that makes him special.

An ancient Echani faith, tales within a sacred lineage of belief long since replaced by the words of the many and cast aside with indifference by the rest. The Son of Suns, a Thyrsian legend of old mixed with the nomadic exile teachings of the Echani Desert Dwellers. He partakes in his worship of the Sun and of the moon, the gods that bring such icons of worship calmly invited upon him in the hope that he can bare witness to the prophesied day when their saviour shall descend, reclaim their lost lands and guide his people back to their rightful place among the stars and the heavens.

Like many Echani his hair sits in stark contrast to the natives of his planet. Bone white hair is cut short to his scalp, sitting upon a face of both youth and age. The suns of Thyrsus have taken their toll, claiming the youth's vitality and replacing it with subtle weathering that betrays his origins. His eyes, all at once captivating and startling, hold a shade of intense blue, a piercing glare that brings judgement upon the soul of those around him. His physique is the anatomy of one living in the day-to-day of harsh survival, his lean form should not be taken for weakness, strong muscles carry a bronzed complexion, toughened by the unrelenting sun and abrasive sands of Thyrsus. Upon his wrist he bares a single blemish, a birthmark of a circular sigil adorned by a crescent along one side. He keeps this to himself and to the few who have seen it, the mark is whispered to be a sign of the Eclipse, a sign of ill portent within Thyrsus Belief.

The Nomad Tribes of Thyrsus are said to have descended from the Echani families that were exiled during the uprising against the Six Sisters. These families sent to the barren wastes of then occupied Thyrsus to carve a living from the scraps of the desert. They were expected to all die in that heat cursed place. Yet they did not.

Instead they thrived, they became known as the Echani in the Sands, nomadic wanders who to the natie Thyrsian's were respected but not accepted. Tales of Echani royalty becoming no more then shadows in the night became a common nighttime story and it is within these stories that the legends began to circulate; and when legend becomes fact, prophecy follows soon after.

Tanith's coming to the world was through a trail of fire and pain. Tales told among the seers that at the moment of his birth the suns was removed from the sky as the shadow of a once in a generational Eclipse cast itself across the sands and brought a cold like none had ever experienced. They say that his coming made the suns quiver and hide in fear, as if the gods themselves knew what he would do. From that day on the suns never again left the sky, fearful of what the boy would do among the Thyrsian dunes, fearful of what he would become if they stopped watching.

His family held no mantle, nor did they ever speak of any more then the simple life among the tribe. This was Tanith's inheritance, that of a nomadic boy in the sand. He would like all boys of age train to be a warrior, a hunter as well as a skilled rider of the Tribes native two legged steeds.

For Tanith life should have been simple. He is well respected throughout his and neighbouring tribes. Even travelling Thyrsian merchants and Sunguard scouting units are familiar with Tanith, who known as the Pale Nomad is a common sight in the border settlements, trading his tribe's wares for coin or supply. He allows this life, yet his eyes always turn skyward whenever they can towards the Sisters, those ever present orbs of light within the sky for those who know where to look. A want for glory sits uneasily in his mind.

His faith has not gone un-noticed by the seers of the tribes either. Recent events within the tribal systems have been seeing many become whispering of returning prophecy. Eyes have been turned towards many within the families, yet Tanith seems to be gaining more eyes then most, the Sun of Suns, the Eclipse, the conditions of his survival all of it could lead into the fabled prophecy that will reveal the vessel for the savior who will one day lead the Echani back to their throne among the stars.

Thyrsus Desert Warrior: Tanith has been trained in the ways of the warrior by his tribe. He has shown the signs of one of the Jen'essi, warriors seemingly capable of the same magic as the Jedi or Sith. Through blade, martial combat and consistent conditioning he is a formidable warrior and swordsman. A master of ambush strategy and scout warfare.

Hardy, Sun-Forged Resilience: Tanith is a son of the Thyrsian wastes. His tall, muscular frame has been tempered by the relentless sun and shifting sands, granting him a physical endurance that rivals the strongest warriors of other cultures.

Prophetic Resolve: While not as devout to the Sun of Suns as the priesthood of the tribes, Tanith still has an unnaturally strong belief in a religion that is firmly established in the old ways. He knows his place in his own soul, as long as the old ways don't try and change him.

Tribe first; Tribe Only: Bound by the his tribes creed and his own sense of duty, Tanith will do what is necessary for his tribe and his people. This includes acts of ruthless determination that others may consider to be beyond the threshold of moral standing.

Respected but not accepted: The Pale Nomad, while it sounds like a title of respect and awe, it is truly an example of the racial differences that hold over Thyrsus. The Echani Sand Tribes are looked at as people who are symbolic of the desert and left to their own ways, yet they are never truly accepted among the people they seek to trade or live with.

SON OF SUNS: Deep down he has one simple desire. To ensure the passing of the son of suns prophecy and reclaim the stars for his people. A slow burning addiction that could in time consume him.
