The Tango Class Executive Shuttle was designed by Sienar Fleet Systems and licensed to a number of shipyards for construction throughout Galactic Alliance Space. It is a high cost shuttle with improved speed and maneuverability when compared to the venerable Lambda class, at a 10% smaller size. This shuttle lacks the detachable cockpit of the Lambda class. A stronger defensive shield compensates for the lack of an ejection feature. The shuttle is somewhat pricey, and is typically only operated by wealthy executives and politicians who need to travel frequently, get places quickly, and may find themselves the target of hostile constituents, shareholders, or pirates.
