Description:

Forged to defend those who
Could not defend themselves
And to uphold the codes, do

The blade was created with the parry
And block in mind and, as such,
The blade and user face narry
A worry when the blade raises in defense.

The shortened blade makes
The strike difficult, though
The price of such for the sake
Of protection was deemed noble.

Strengths:
- Songsteel Blade
- Alchemically treated to provide an unbreakable block on the defense.
- Alchemically treated to deflect blaster rounds
- Alchemically treated to never lose the razer sharp edge

Weaknesses:
- The blade is single edged and short, limiting usage and fighting styles.
- Though made of Songsteel, the alchemical treatment has made it near equivalent in weight to mundane blades of the same style.
- While the blade features unbreakable defensive capabilities, this does require knowledge of the blade's ability and Force sensitivity.
- To compensate for the vastly increased defensive ability, the blade lacks greatly on the offense due to shortness of blade and the focus required to use the sword's defensive powers.

The amount of work put into this and the dev thread is /astounding/ so you ought to be very pleased with and proud of yourselves. As for the weapon itself, the fact it's a blade and not armour makes this easier to judge; it's measured by the skill of the writer/character as opposed to just generic and passive defence. From what I've gathered there are four of them, although the style of this blade is unique.

I'm going to approve this weapon with the understanding that aside from the other three smaller blades there'll be no more made without further dev/submission threads. This isn't the sort of thing we'd want spawning left, right and centre. The same will be said for the other blades. Keep in mind the limitations set, and ensure that if this gets passed on the individual who claims it is fully aware of what it can/cannot do where combat is concerned.
