Featured, Points of Interest:

  • Sotta’s Palace: A place of fun for all, from a built in holo-cinema, games for adults and children, several of Tamanen’s finest restaurants, cantinas, and a hotel for guests to stay in the Palace truly is the crown jewel of the city.

  • Aubudon Vue Gardens and Museum of Music: Music has always been a big part of Tamanen, and this museum is dedicated to the glorious music that has brought Tamanen from its days a village in a swamp into the massive metropolis it is today. Right across the way are the Vue Gardens, some of the finest Gardens around the First Order. Botanists, florists and garden enthusiasts alike flock to Tamanen to see this spectacular vertical garden.

  • First Imperial Bank Tower: Built by the former First Imperial Trust now First Imperial Bank, the tower serves as the First Imperial Bank’s corporate headquarters this tower also serves as the regional headquarters for the Anoat Sector.

  • Delta Towers: The premiere Delta Towers are how the upper class on Tamanen live, the Deltas are a luxurious condominium and office tower, enabling those who can afford it to live and work there.

  • Ochsner Bridge: Old Ochsner Bridge connects the thriving metropolitan life of the Main Quarter with the rest of the city, or as some may put it the decaying quarters that struggle to survive beneath the Main Quarter’s weight.

  • Low River: Low River is part of the River Quarter and is an example of how the regular people on Tamanen live. While they’re not in the slum zones, the Low River district has started to see some of the family-owned shops fold to the chained restaurants, leaving their economy struggling to keep up. Forcing those who live in the River Quarter to find work in the Main Quarter.

  • Upper River: Upper River is the other half of the River Quarter, represents more of the upper middle class, but just like Low River, it’s started to experience an economic decline. Upper River looks a little better than Low River, but looks can be deceiving, the crime rate here is higher although it’ll never quite reach the same levels as the Main Quarter.

Not Featured, Points of Interest:

  • Old Bordeaux Station: It’s an old metro station but for some reason, it’s started to see life, squatters most likely.

  • Delray Pointe: Synthwave Club, part of a chain of clubs spread throughout First Order space, Delray Pointe is just one of the many examples of the larger companies muscling in, bringing some stiff competition to the locals.

  • Kaniti Brewery: Brewing some of the best Bavva Ale, Kaniti Brewery - when only the finest will do.

Description: Tamanen, the city on the swamp, where the marshland was civilized. From ordinary bayous and swamps to something more sophisticated. Bavva has been the planet where black market goods find a way of disappearing, where if you’re not careful you may end up somewhere in the bottom of ol’ Barra Marsh where no one will find you. Or, you can enjoy the Culture Quarter where all that makes Tamanen unique is celebrated - visit the museums, enjoy a boat tour of the city, enjoy the shows at Sotta’s palace.

It’s not an unknown secret that Tamanen is quickly becoming the criminal center of the First Order, much to the Order’s chagrin and... advantage. Information can be bought and sold to the highest bidder. It’s said a lot of the First Order’s fresh faced agents are tested here, and if they cannot survive Tamanen then they will not survive service to the Order.

History: Tamanen is an older city, older than most would ever like to give it credit for. It’s been around in one form or another most say it started out as a few villages of Evocii who had once been thought to be extinct, but then - it seems nothing in this galaxy is too long for dead. The Tamanen still hold some manner of power in the form of Call. They can make the final call and say on the city, but just like anything else in Tamanen it can be bought and sold.

When First Order banners marched across the sector, Bavva submitted, for a price. A hefty price that set the First Order’s budget back. In return, Bavva’s turned its criminal underworld over for the FOSB’s use. It’s not guaranteed that all on Bavva would simply submit or submit as easily as the government had, but for the most part. The First Order leaves the citizens of the planet and moreover of Tamanen City alone, in return for a little information here and there.

There’s a saying, there’s no such thing as an honest ‘Aman, or citizen of Tamanen. While most are generally good working folks. The city’s gained a bit of a reputation, even the First Order has had some issues keeping some manner of control, so it has granted Bavva just a little more autonomy than some of the other planets. Turning a blind eye to some of the crimes that occur here all the while taking the tithes Bavva offers them.

In fact, Tamanen so gained a reputation that Hutts have begun to make their way here and bringing with them their courts. For the most part the First Order has managed to keep the Hutts in line, letting one of them have majority hold. Sotta. Sotta was originally from Nal Hutta, played it up on Nar Shadda for a long, long while. Unfortunately, things in that region were starting to get a little shaky for the ol’ Hutt. So he made the move to Bavva, and while he may still be in the process of moving his assets. Sotta’s invested a lot into the city, into the First Order; believing that they could offer him the best protection this side of the galaxy.

Intent: To add more lore and flavor to planets that already exist within the First Order’s borders.
