[+]Spiritual: Talus grew up within his tribe of Kiffu, and there he learned a true spiritual connection. His tribe and their ancestors revered and held spirits in great esteem, taking from them power and in turn granting them sacrifice. Though unknown to him at the time, this connection was not with the ancestors but the force itself. Through many years of tutelage, studious devotion, and utter zealotry Talus grew to have a truly powerful and honest connection with the force itself. Through this he gains his power, most of which is linked through the rapid bursts of emotion he feels.

[+]Tribal: As one might think, life on Kiffu was not all about arcades and fast speeders, particularly for Clan Morid. Located in the southern, less populated half, Clan Morid lead their lives in the ways of the ancients. They practiced the old ways, tracking and hunting wild game, surviving on what they could, and generally living in what most in the galaxy would call a 'primitive' style. Even now Talus carries the notions of his people, being an excellent tracker and survivalist above everything else.

[-]Technolomergy: The upbringing that made Talus an excellent tracker and survivalist also made him typically dysfunctional when it came to technology. Ask him how to use a datapad and he would likely break it. Fly a starship? Not if you want it in one piece when it gets back. Talus' interaction with technology are comical and often short. He prefers to live a simpler life, and often falls to anger when confronted with things he doesn't quite understand. That being said, he's not a simpleton, he just wont ever be a slicer.

[-]Quick to Snap: Clan Morid has for generations been a society based on power. The strong ruled, and the weak were left to rot within the wastes. The constant pressure of survival, the push to be the strongest has rendered Talus into an incredibly short sighted individual. Talus does not plan for the future, he looks out for his immediate survival, and in that survival often carries a great deal of emotion. His deep spiritualism and tradition mean he is often angered, and outbursts are more than common from the young man.

Talus Morid is what most would think of when they picture a typical Kiffari.

Standing tall and proud, Talus carries himself with the gait of a warrior. His face is marked with the deep red tattoos of his clan, a long scar marking the right side of his face. His eyes are a pale yellow, an aberration of either his own making or something passed down the line of his clan. His gaze is an unsettling one, a predator staring at prey. Though hardly towering in stature, there seems to be a dangerous quality to the young man, as if he were ready to snap at any given moment.

The clothes that Talus wears differ from day to day, mostly depending on what is around.

Though he has no real issue with wearing the clothes of other species, when given a choice he is most comfortable in the tribal dress of his clan. A heavy coat made of pelts, an oddly adorned feathered collar, and a necklace of bone and teeth. Two heavy aurodium earings also mar his ears, though their meeting is unknown to all but him.

Though his nature as a Kiffar is more than obvious to most, and even his tribal markings are easy enough to trace back to Clan Morid, Talus' actual history is as murky as a thousand other beings in the galaxy.

What is known is primarily what had been put on his rap sheet.

Though not forthcoming with any information, upon Talus' arrest the Galactic Alliance Authorities were able to ascertain some small details about his past. These details were mainly taken from the myriad of Tattoos that decorated the young man's body, as well as the meager possessions that he carried with him upon his arrest.

Though the officers were somewhat puzzled at first, a clever detective managed to ascertain that Talus had just made his way back to Alliance Space from somewhere within the current Sith Empire. The small amount of money as well as the clothes he had apparently stolen making it obvious that he was trying to pass off as a civilian. After closer inspection however the Sith Tattoos adorning his body were discovered and with them a medallion of Sith Origin itself.

After this was discovered Talus lashed out, headbutting the nearest officer and using the force to rip himself free of bondage. After a brief scuffle that left one guard permanently disfigured, Talus was sent to the nearest Alliance Prison Facility where it was hoped he would live out the rest of his life in misery.
