- Elegant Death: This lightsaber is a perfect union of grace and lethality. Capable of deflecting blaster bolts and turning aside nearly any blow, it serves both as shield and sword. Few materials can resist its edge; even the strongest armor yields to it.
- Drowned Spark: Where most sabers would short out and die beneath the waves, this one will not. Outfitted with a Bifurcating Cyclic Ignition Pulse, the blade ignites effortlessly in any environment, be it garden, volcano, or the ocean's abyss. Sith must be ready to fight anywhere, and this design ensures that their weapon will never falter, even when the elements themselves conspire against it.
- Cycle of Hunger: Every warrior needs an advantage. For this design, one such advantage lies in conversion. It is intended to take the strength of an enemy and turn it inward. The trinity of components, Blade Drain, Pyronium Battery, and Jolt Cell work in concert to absorb power from opposing blades and recycle it. Energy drawn from contact is stored, stabilized, and then released to amplify the weapon's charge, wreathing the blade in crackling arcs of electricity that punish both droid and flesh alike.
- Hand That Guides: Not all Sith are masters of the sword, yet they must make every strike count. The Thisspiasian Stabilizing Coils embedded within the hilt subtly move and adjust during combat, lending balance and precision to each motion. Overextension and error are tempered, replaced by the illusion of effortless control. The blade feels alive in one's grasp, anticipating each movement.
- Old Ways: Due to the Cyclic Crystal Array, this weapon can be used in dual phase. When activated, the saber can re-channel energy between these complex internal mechanisms, which can change the blade's length, density, and even cutting power.
- Expect the Unexpected: A state-of-the-art lens that enables the warblade to cut through Yuuzhan Vong technology with ease.
- Force Activated: While the blade can be activated manually, it also has the option of being activated through the Force by experienced users.
- Heart of Flame: At the saber's core lies the Erinar Crystal, a focus renowned for its volatility and raw thermal power. The resulting blade is hotter, more aggressive, and capable of cauterizing wounds in an instant. Its burning edge embodies the Sith's own philosophy of passion bound by control, destruction restrained only by purpose.
- Short Reach: The lightsaber, for all its brilliance, remains a close-quarters weapon. It can be thrown or used to deflect ranged foes, but its strength lies in proximity. Against distant foes or long-range weaponry, even the mightiest of Sith still need to close the gap to kill.
- Silent Stone: Cortosis remains the bane of lightsabers across the ages. Its unique properties short out energy blades on contact, leaving the wielder suddenly vulnerable.
- Electric Bane: A powerful EMP can disable the weapon temporarily, robbing the Sith of their most iconic tool until proper repairs can be made.
- Experienced User Required: While the Thisspiasian Stabilizing Coils do provide some measure of assistance with less experienced wielders, this weapon can still be difficult to operate for a novice. If their control over the Force is not complete, they may need to use manual activation, rather than the Force option. Improper use can cause feedback through the hilt, which could injure the user. This blade requires practice to be utilized to its fullest potential.
- Complex Engineering: If the weapon is misused or not taken care of, the machinery within can destabilize and cause the blade to respond incorrectly. Especially when attempting to activate dual phase.
The forge was silent.
Only the low hum of containment fields filled the chamber, that, and the occasional sound of the pale-skinned Echani drawing breath. Heat shimmered off of obsidian walls, bending stone, making shadowed forms without faces dance in the dying firelight. She worked alone, not for the first time, nor would it be the last. The Sith had long since abandoned this place, scorched by years of use, not shiny, not new, as many modern forges were...But she preferred the quiet. It gave her time to think whilst working with her hands. Creation, she believed, was not a process of noise and applause for the finished product—It was an act of restraint.
This was what her former Master,
"We speak of power...", she spoke to the parts, lightly, as if they might understand her. "But power alone is chaos..."
Her hands moved with surgical precision, assembling each piece, one by one, with Echani grace. The bifurcating cyclic ignition pulse slid into its cradle with a faint metallic sigh, a safeguard against weakness. She remembered when the Confederacy fought on Kamino and vividly recalled the Knight's Obsidian who lost themselves due to the elements. She could envision their blades winking out, dying before they did. Srina would not allow such frailty to linger. Then came the pyronium secondary battery, the heart of the weapon's hunger. She turned it over in her fingers, its surface faintly pulsing with red light. It would drink power from contact, drawing strength from those foolish enough to cross it.
The thisspiasian stabilizing coils followed, insurance of sorts, because not every Sith was a duelist, even if they were proficient in the Force. Some fought with rage, some fought with fear. The coils would compensate, smoothing their chaos, steadying their actions so that they might succeed regardless. Even imperfection, she thought, deserved the chance to endure and become something more. If all of their young were snuffed out before they could learn to run...The next generation of Sith would suffer. She worked through the rest of the components with relative ease, though it took some doing. The first saber had almost blown up her face.
Not because she lacked comprehension or ability, but because of the volatility of the crystal.
"Let them call us monsters...", the words were whispered to the Erinar Crystal as she guided it neatly within its housing. Somehow, it seemed to calm when it was spoken to. Its heat was palpable even though it hovered just over her fingertips. It would burn hotter than most could manage and would create a blade that did not merely cut, but instantly cauterized. When the weapon ignited, its glow painted the room in red and shadow, both devouring, both beautiful. The hum was deeper than that of a normal saber, threaded with something faintly mournful.
She regarded it for a long while. Not necessarily with pride...But expectation. This was not a weapon for conquest but an instrument of continued existence...A promise that the Sith would adapt, endure, and evolve even as the rest of the galaxy tried their hardest to wipe them out. "We are the gravity that binds the stars...Are we not?"
The blade hummed, steady and constant.
"...But even light bows to gravity."
When she finally extinguished the blade, the afterglow lingered. A faint heat on the skin. A brightness behind closed eyes. Srina placed the hilt on the table and turned away, toward the forge, and it began to light up and burn once more. It would take time for it to reach the proper temperature...but in the interim?
The diminutive woman went back to sorting parts. Speaking, to the crystals.
Readying herself to make another...and another... Until the table was full.
