• Affiliation: Shrouded Republic, Kyle Raymus
 • Classification: Pilots.
 • Equipment: RZ-110 Elite Starfighters, RZB-12 Heavy Bombers.
 • LD-58 Modular Rifle, WESTAR 35.1 (restored and updated WESTAR 35's)
 • Rebreathers, Pilot HUD and Targeting Assistance Helmet

COMBAT INFORMATION
 • Availability: Unique
 • Deployment: Limited
 • Strengths & Weaknesses:
 • Strengths:
 • Elite Pilots: These pilots are the best of the best when it comes to flying.
 • Teamwork: These guys are known for their amazing teamwork, which is further enhanced by the targeting computers equipped on their ships
 • Blaster Training: These guys know what they are doing when forced to join in ground combat
 • Weaknesses:
 • The very very few: There are currently only 1 of these squadrons totalling to a mere 12 pilots
 • I shall not allow him to die: These pilots cannot bear to see their comrades die and will do anything to prevent it, this however can be manipulated to shred the entire squadron
 • The Proud: They are your partners, never your subordinates
 • Physically weak: They are trained with blasters, but not with brute strength or hand to hand combat
 • Wheres my starfighter?: While they can hold their own on the ground, they are so used to their starfighters, that it causes them to lose their focus if fighting on the ground for prolonged periods of time
 • Description: This squadron was created from the finest pilots Kyle could find. He searched for suiting candidates on many worlds and in many space races. He completed his search when he found 12 of the finest pilots in the galaxy. They were then trained rigorously by Kyle, improving their teamwork, blaster proficiency. When it comes to starfighters, the Talon Squadron is one of the best. Their squadron coordintaion, maneuvering, and overall dogfighting proficiency is unparalleled. There is one problem that came with their training, and it is their bond with eachother. They cannot bear witness the death of a squad member and will do anything to avoid it. As such, they can be manipulated by their enemies, causing the entire squadron to fall apart. They are also highly capable warriors on the ground, with advanced blaster training. These soldiers are probably even better at shooting than your average ground force. Due to the value these pilots present, they are usually dispatched in two's or three's to assist regular squadron on harder missions. Only during times of crisis is the entire squadron dispatched. However, Kyle still flies with them on most of his bounty hunting missions as well as his harder missions, he prefers their company.

I am gonna need you to take another look at the template and add any missing fields. If you aren't using them, simply add N/A behind it. I am also gonna need more weaknesses to balance out this submission.

[member="Jairus Starvald"] everything is there.
As for the weakness... done

Thank you for bringing that up, there may be a slight oversight in the template and I brought that up with the rest of the Codex team. You have been using the right template, so no worries there.

Now on to the meat of things:

You got a combat unit that are good at starfighter combat, but apparently they are also proficient at ground combat. Then they also excel at working together as a team.

In exchange?

It's a single unit.
They are proud.
And they don't want to see their partners die.

The issue here is that all three of your strengths are strong strengths that give them a good advantage in combat. The weaknesses are less clear and not as viable when you go up against other people.

I need a weakness that can be exploited in a PVP situation, to balance this out.

Tag me if you need assistance with ideas or when you add an additional weakness.

You could for instance mention that physically they are substantially at a disadvantage against trained fighters. That their balance out of their starfighters is out of whack, because they are used to constantly be in their ships and that lessens the accuracy of their shots and general effectiveness out of their fighters.

Things like that.

Thanks a lot [member="Jairus Starvald"] i was thinking about physical weakness and lack of training in martial arts, but wasnt sure about it. The unbalanced idea also works great. Edited!
