PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION

Talohn is a cathar standing at 6’2, weighing 160 lbs. His body is covered with a light layer of fur that is a light grayish blue with black stripes occasionally along his body, the ones on his face forming slight patterns. His eyes are an odd color of orange and yellow, with slitted feline pupils.

Often able to be seen when he’s smiling or snarling, he’s got long incisors on the top row of his jaw, alongside a mouthful of sharp teeth. His ears are a bit on the long side, dwarving even some bothan, and are covered by a layer of gray fur as well. His hair, often messy or hastily done, isn’t actually hair, but instead just long strands of the same kind of fur that covers the rest of him.

In terms of figure, he’s got a lean but muscular build, obviously much like the felinoid creatures he’s related to. He’s built for climbing, jumping, dodging, and overall being acrobatic. Retractable claws on his toes and fingers help him in this regard, while also serving as excellent emergency weapons.

PERSONALITY

Upfront, Talohn seems like a very happy go lucky person, perhaps a bit eccentric as well. He tends to over-explain and stutter over himself when extremely flustered or excited, and is always quick to be witty or comedic when he feels it’s needed.

When talking about things he enjoys, it can easily end up a long rant, as talking to people is one of the things he enjoys most out of life. Overall, he comes across as a wholesome being that wouldn’t hurt a fly. This impression is not the full truth. Many often underestimate his combat abilities due to the kindly way he acts, assuming he doesn’t have the guts to take a life.

This is wrong. Talohn has a claws, and he’s more than happy to use them if needed. During combat, he’s still casual, cracking the occasional joke, but he takes his job seriously, and does what he needs to get the work done. He is perfectly able to kill, no matter his disposition.

STRENGTHS & WEAKNESSES

▲ SLICING: Talohn grew up working with technology in a salvage crew for a while after he first left cathar. His experience has only built up over the course his life has run. He knows the ins and outs of tech, and how to properly get into most systems with the proper slicing tools.
▲ HACKING: This is similar to slicing, but it's guaged by skill without slicing tools. Talohn knows the weaknesses of most operating systems. What wires to tamper with, what circuit boards to prod, what console commands to punch in, all of the stuff that makes computing technology tick.

▲ ENGINEERING: Talohn is a certified tinker. He spends a lot of his spare time working on technology. Anywhere from weapons to droids or vehicles. He's been doing so since he left his home of cathar at the age of 18, and doesn't plan to stop anytime soon. One can always find him working on a project of some sort, even if at times they are more scatterbrained than practical. Despite his creative whimsy, make no mistake. Talohn will always produce a working product to meet the needs of himself or others.

▲ MID TO CLOSE RANGE COMBAT: Talohn is a seasoned soldier that has been practicing some form of combat for most of his life. He is well versed in a wide assortment of weaponry, which allows him to perform proficiently in most situations he is faced with. However, his strength lies particularly in mid and close range combat. Blades, CQC, pistols, shotguns, rifles. If one can find it in a mid range skirmish, duel or ambush? Chances are Talohn is an experienced practitioner of it's use.

▲ VEHICLE MANEUVERING: While driving ships and other assorted vehicles isn't one of Talohn's extremely notable talents amongst all the others, he knows enough to get by when needed. While he won't be leading any squadrons or flying through any valleys to deliver a bomb, he can do all the stuff one would expect of a trained pilot in order to survive and bite back in a firefight. He's somewhat better at speeders and other ground based vehicles, his feline reflexes allowing for snappy reactions and quick thinking even while moving at high speeds.

▲ SUBTERFUGE: Alongside a learned life of both combat and espionage behind him, Talohn is a Juhani cathar. A more lean subspecies that, while perfect capable of direct combat, is adapted to lurk in the undergrowth of lush jungles. His very instincts are wired to understand where cones of visions are, what shadows will hide him, what type of movement will allow him to move most silently, what path can be carved towards a target with little to no visibility on his part. Mix this with his already previous stated abilities in technology, and Talohn makes for an excellent stealth operative when the need calls for it. Even if he finds it somewhat boring.

▲ AMBUSHING: His clan's specialty. Not Clan Verd. Clan Atar, his people back on Cathar. Going hand in hand with their natural talent for stealth, the Atar clan and Talohn by extension are extremely proficient in the art of setting up an ambush. Where to hide, where to set the traps, which target to attack first. All of these things come to Talohn as naturally as breathing.

▼ UNSUITED FOR WATER: An age old problem for cathar. One could even large bodies of water are a great source of generational trauma for cathar ever since the Mandalorians committed genocide upon their species via drowning all those eons ago. Those issues aside, Cathar are also just not built for swimming. Their fur does not take well to water and their bones are dense to carry the powerful muscles of their frame. Talohn can swim and will interact with water when needed. But he will tire out faster. Underwater combat is also a problem, be it in a diving suit or submarine. His notorious catharese reflexes and coordination depend on being grounded. Without solid ground, those senses become muddled. He fares somewhat better in the void of space, but not by an extensive margin.

▼ LEAN FORM: Talohn boasts a form sculpted of lean muscle, built for agility and acrobatics. Dodging is preferred. While he's typically in some form of armor in order to take hits better, he's not built for taking hits. Particularly in CQC. Bulkier opponents are always a struggle for him to deal with. He'd much rather clear out the larger opponents from mid range if he can. If not, he's in for a rougher fight than usual.

FORCE ABILITIES:

FORCE SPEED: One of his most used tools in his arsenal, force speed makes for a deadly combo when mixed with his catharese reflexes and coordination. He often uses it in light bursts during ranged combat to move from cover to cover. In close combat, it aids his dodging. It also overall helps him somewhat circumvent the weight of his armor. However, it consumes his energy at a high rate and therefore must be used in moderation.

RELATIONSHIPS:

ZLOVA RUE: One of Talohn's most treasured people in the galaxy. Though not formally married in terms of paper work, they might as well be. They've been together for 20 years now. She's been there for he and his daughter through thick and thin. Talohn can't conceive what life without her would be like, and he'd fight tooth and nail to make sure such a reality never comes to be.

DOMINA PRIME: While Talohn cannot take sole credit for the upbringing of this being, he took part in the effort of the enclave to raise Dima, and thus sees him as one of his daughters. He's proud of the powerful being that Dima has grown up to be, but often finds himself wary of the abilities she boasts. He keeps an eye on her when he can.
