SPECIAL FEATURES

  • The amulet allows the wearer to have enhanced durability and striking power. Making one’s skin highly resistant to piercing effects and even allowing it to resist blows from lightsabers similarly to Cortosis.
STRENGTHS
  • The amulet acts as a focus for the living Force. Enhancing one’s body’s durability and the potency of their strikes. Allowing adepts to perform feats such as piercing through toughened materials and armour with their bare hands. The stronger one’s connection to the Force. The greater the piercing power of their blows.
  • The amulet provides the wearer with enhanced resistance to piercing weaponry such as knives or bullets. As well as an almost Cortosis-like quality to their skin. Allowing them to parry even Lightsabers with their bare hands.
WEAKNESSES
  • The Item itself is merely a worn amulet. While slightly more durable than its base materials would indicate. It is still capable of being damaged.
  • As it is a Focus for Force Energies, it has no intrinsic power of its own. The strength any adept can pull from it is dependant on their own control of the Force. If for whatever reason a Force Adept’s focus wanes, the amulet would not produce as potent an effect.
  • As it is a worn item, an amulet at that. It can be removed.
  • The amulet does not provide the wearer with any exceptional resistance to harm beyond what their body can sustain. While a blow from a lightsaber is not lethal, it will still cause damage unless properly blocked. The same stands for things such as knives or projective weapons.
  • The amulet merely increases the piercing power of the wearer’s blows. Any ability to deal damage to structures, armour and individuals is dependent on the wearer’s physical strength and skill. An individual with impressive physical strength and a deep connection to the force could certainly punch through toughened materials and potent body armour. But less physically and/or spiritually adept individuals could not.
DESCRIPTION
Before lightsabers, before those who would imbue the Force into blades. There have been many warrior traditions that have used the Force throughout the history of the galaxy, of which the Jedi are the most famous. Rather than the lightsabers of the Jedi and the Sith, some Force warrior traditions focus on turning the practitioner's body into a weapon. This talisman is from one such order, and it channels the Force into the wearer's body, making It hard as steel.
