Description: First created during the time of the Sith Empire and the Old Republic by Sinnok Talesa. This was the time of the Crusaders and Neo-Crusaders when their allegiance to the Sith caused them to face not only the legendary Knights of the Jedi Order but standard troops and SPECFOR operators. It was designed for complete warfare at a time when beskar ore was more plentiful. When the cost of such armour came from the time required than the simple rarity of the materials. As such it is able to cover more than the modern-era armour which focuses on the critical parts of the body. It has been passed down from generation to generation and has seen conflicts over thousands of years. It's sloped bracers cover most of the forearm allowing to parry blades if the warrior loses his shield.

While its strengths lie in his inherent physical durability and the ability to stand the test of time its weaknesses are rather glaring when compared to the modern Mandalorian armour. While arguably stronger and able to protect the wearer more it is heavier which in rough terrain can cause more fatigue. It also means that any use of a jetpack will require more fuel to keep up with other warriors. Aside from that, while its owners have tried to keep its tactical systems and software updated it is still vastly out of date. Even still it could be updated but the power core can only take so much. Systems would have to be sacrificed. The right wrist's power for thermal vision. Or the shield generator for advanced missile guidance systems.

To say it is superior or inferior to modern armour is perhaps an incorrect comparison. It is armour meant to take punishment and keep its user pressing forward. From a time where war in Mandalorian life wasn't a possibility but a glorious certainty.
