Isur
Are you a bad fish too?
A raid?
A raid.
Isur was happy with this. Delphos had given the crew the floor, and there were multiples who were suggesting a ghost story. And one ancient human and his droid who claimed that it was real. The systems of the Kallidhan. They and their need to quarantine things out of the galaxy was vast. And there were several worlds that were vaults. It would be folly to attack them, wouldn’t it?
Well, with the right locations and the right ships? That was where the small pirate fleet was going now. The call went out to all Black Sun. Credits, treasures, and more infamy was on the table. Fighters, small sloops, and the larger pirate vessel of Delphos, the Hunter was leaping towards the outskirts of the system. A raid was focused on the outer planets.
And as soon as they arrived?
The crews began firing, and the Kallidahins began launching droid fighters. It was time for a war.
“All crews to weapons batteries. Pilots to your fighters. We’re gunning for the small stations, break their defense, and get a hold. With any luck, Black Sun will bring in some support. Gunning for the fifth world. Shore teams, to your shuttles!” The mighty Herglic shouted over the ship’s intercoms.
Isur ignored the rest. He ran from his space in the armory, prepped in metal armor, and grabbed his Wan-Shen as he stomped his way down to the shuttle bay.
Outside, the array of pirate fighters and sloops, mostly heavy freighters modified within an inch of being legally a freighter, were blasting at the Kallidahin weapon batteries.
Isur stepped into his shuttle, the rest of the crew chanting their war cries as the sounds of wreck-punk was being blasted from the ship’s intercom, both inside and out. It was dropped from the Hunter and was charging for the first station.
And hopefully, first vault.
A raid.
