Tales of Kinooine

Falius stood on the surface, taking a swing of his canteen, the dusty air making his throat scratchy. He was surrounded by orange jagged rocks jutting out of the ground about half his height. A mountain range was to his west, which was lined by a small stream he could barely make out. He had been waiting there for three hours, taking a ride by a freighter captain in the immediate area a few hours early to get some meditation done before his teacher [member="Matsu Ike"], arrived. The Padawan had been going around the galaxy for so many years after leaving the order he had forgotten his promise to continue his quest to Jedi Knight, and he decided that he would finally start training. It had been a very long time since someone had taught him the ways of the force and he was anxious.

The desolate planet of Kinooine had sounded like a good choice, barely any life other than a few resilient plants, harsh climate during some of it's seasons, bearable only half of the year. No distractions to interrupt his Jedi training, it was perfect. So he meditated, waiting for his new master to arrive.

I'm sorry it took this log to post. This was the 4th time I have written it, the first time SWRP Chaos hasn't totally wiped it and made me restart.

The world was a very nice and fairly interesting place where one would be able to work and train. She for instance was using it and prepared to work on some of the aspects of the current force project that they were developing. A way to turn the korriban compass she had received when the jedi were shutting down an illegal auction to study and use its force tracking capabilities in a new watchmen's tool. It was designed to track the force signatures with a duel layer screen, one of crystasteel and one of kyber pressed into a clear lens that would be enhanced with the force to track with the force different force signatures on the world. The second screen worked to well add to it. instead of the compass needle that gave a general direction the mini computer would give directional information to the second along with signal indicators that would appear as lips on the screen. For here while she was working on it and tinker she was waiting for the padawan to arrive while she was awaiting him with her equipment for training purposes.

Falius traversed the rocky desolate surface of Kinooine, heading to the location of his training. He regret asking for that freighter captain to let him down 'wherever he pleased'. Nevertheless, he let the thought pass and continued on his journey. The hot sun made the hike unsavory as he felt a small pang of heat exhaustion, despite his ever so often water breaks. Finally, he arrived at the location he was to train, "Master Ike, it is very relieving to see you."

Matsu looked up from the tinkering with the locator as she was working on the connection process to let the two screens work together before she spoke. "Welcome padawan." Sitting there the canteens they had developed that produced their own water for places like this. "There is some water in the canteens, have as much as you need." Here on the planet when it was lot and dry it produced more water thanks to the moisture equipment they had developed with it. Some more things like the different foods they had been working on to have plenty for anyone. She could spend weeks working on more of it before she was looking over more of the locators components holding it.

Falius bowed to the master Jedi, "Thank you Master, but I have had enough water for now." The Padawan walked over to [member="Matsu Ike"], glancing at her work, "What is this you are working on, Master Jedi?" The fairly young adult was interested in what Master Ike was tinkering on, but did wish to start training.

Matsu looked at him and gave a nod of her head while she was looking over with one or two of the things. A grin provided on her face. "This is a scouter for jedi watchmen to hopefully when it is done find force sensitives objects and people. It it something we have been working on and testing using an old compass we found from one of the worlds." She stayed with it and gave a few more ideas to herself though when she rose up and finishing with some of the tinkering. "The small computer in it is for direction to follow and track the signals it detects while assigning a range and level to it. All goes well for it then jedi watchmen will have a new tool to use while searching and we can give it to some other groups who fear force users as a symbol of openness." She was ready to begin though while moving. "Now how would you like to begin."

Falius stood in amazement, he was no man of science or technology, but this was a surely interesting gadget. When the Jedi Master finally mentioned starting training, Falius became excited. This is what he had hoped for, for so long. No longer would he be a lost padawan, but a lost knight. At least then he would have some knowledge and he could give something back to the galaxy. The Padawan thought for a moment, "It's been so long since I have been trained in the ways of the force, I believe that is where I should restart my journey to the honor of Jedi Knight, Master Ike."

Looking at him with interest as he was talking about it and with a look at him she could work with that, resetting and going with the training between it while she was walking and held the completed force scouter with a nod of her head. "Alright then, we shall restart your lessons and work to develop you into a strong jedi once again." She said it while leading the way towards an open area where some of the biot droids that they had developed were stationed. Specifically and with a number of new improvements that allowed them to train and teach the jedi through a mixture of flash training and better programming. Matsu was moving over with a number of things while she was providing more information. "Now lets see, the first lessons a padawan wold learn is how to focus and channel the force to preform the basics. From push to pull and learning how to move about with faster reflexes."
