  • Description: A temple hidden in one of the more secluded parts of the planet, on one of the smaller islands on the planet of Talasea. Has all of the normal "attractions" of a Jedi Temple may have. Library, Main courtyard. Training rooms, A training Yard, Housing/Dorms. Various landing pads, and more.
POINTS OF INTEREST
Main Courtyard/Main Landing Pads/Speeder Bay: There are multiple entrances to the Temple. However the proverbial "front door" is the main courtyard facing out into the woods and forests of the island that the temple is built upon. Decorated with various fauna, brick walkways, and a fountain in the center with water that is suitable for drinking if someone so wishes. Rather large, its the second largest courtyard of the three that are on the grounds. To the north of the courtyard is the main building of the temple. Circling around it in a giant U-shape resides all of the other buildings that students, teachers, and others may use for their appropriate functions.

The main courtyard is also one of the main attractions of the Temple as it is a place where many can gather for whatever it may be. Classes being set outside instead of indoors, students on a break and enjoying themselves, or even for some training if one so wishes. However, it is asked of any who wish to train in the yard to not use actual weapons as that is reserved for the Training yard.

Just off to the west wing, leads into a tunnel that will lead to one of the many docking pads and bays for various ships to come and go as they please. A speeder hanger is also housed there as an underground bay. Having a blast door to open and allow speeder usage within the forests surrounding the campus.

Main Temple Building/Temple Wings:
The main temple is where most, if not almost all of the classes are held. Classes ranging from training, study of the force, or even general education up to a Highschool level education. Most however are training within the force. One room per master, and extra rooms are used as Open training rooms for the students to practice in a controlled environment. Even a few state of the art "Holorooms" in which holoprojectors reenact situations, battles, and otherwise scenarios for the students to train in. The Library is also at the rear of the main temple. Large enough to hold almost all the information necessary for students and teachers to use at their will.

The main wings are the North, East, and West Wings. These wings are attached to the sides and rear of the temple via various halls. The West wing is the dormitories, Cafes, recreational rooms, and other Value of life places that can be used. The wing is split up into four main sections. The southern rooms of the West Wing are the dormitories for students, and students alone. With the Northern being that of the teachers. At the very end of the wing is a smaller section for Guests, or otherwise extra rooms used for people who are not students or teachers of the temple. The last section is in the center of the northern and southern sides of the wing. Being the rec rooms, and other such value of life areas.

With most of the general classes being housed in the main temple, the East wing is in two sections. Advanced classes for Knight and Masters to practice in safety away from others, and the offices of said Masters, and Knights who are trained, and approved by the Jedi council to train, and teach other students. The East wing also has a center line of rooms used for Staff who take care of janitorial, or otherwise hired staff of the temple to take care, and keep the temple in tip top shape.

The Northern Wing is the housing for all of the weaponry, Artifacts, holocrons, and other such items. Here, there is an office for the Temple Master, as well as the Grandmaster should they choose to visit. Both offices are catty-corner to their own rooms. The Northern Wing is the smallest of the three. Taking up a third of the size of the two other wings. That is because the halls that would lead to said wing open up to a secondary courtyard. The Largets of the three.

Central Courtyard/Sword of the Ancients:
This central courtyard is the largest of the three yards. A large rectangle that is as the same shape and size of the main building's floor length and width. This courtyard is left open to the elements. Grass and fauna grow naturally here, and are only prevented from growing out of hand by the Jedi Healers who wish to aid the other Knights and Masters who tend to this natural garden. Three simple pathways of stone lead out from the main building of the Temple. The west, and east walk ways lead around the center of the courtyard, and lead towards the northern wing.

Students can access the gardens via these two walk ways and can maintain the garden at their leasure. Walking into the plant life, as well as having a few benches along the path for those who wish to sit out in the open and watch and listen to the wildlife. However, all of the benches face the central path.

The Central path leads over to a small hole or pit in the ground. Disc shaped, the pit cuts off the central walk way with pure dirt. The small decline into the pit would create the illusion to anyone watching from the benches to have lost their legs beneath the ground. In the very center of this pit is a rather large stone. This stone is of unknown origin, and has a rock formation that is not natural to the planet. Pierced into this stone is a single sword. This sword is said to be a Longsword. The blade made clearly out of a Damascus type material, with runes older than the human race etched just outside of the fuller of the blade.

This blade is encased in the stone with such force, that no being is able to pull the sword from said stone. However, rumors from students, staff, and Jedi alike say that the one person who draws the sword can wield the Light Side of the force with such skill and finesse, that the being would be purely of the Light side. Attached to the stone is a placard. Written down is the inscription.

"A mysterious sword, filled with mysterious powers resides here. He who draws the sword shall be of the purest of heart, mind and spirit. May you test your strength against this sword, and see who is worthy to wield it."

So far, No student, Master, staff member, or any being who came to visit the temple, has been successful in drawing the blade.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
With the formation of the CSA. The Alliance has sanctioned off this planet for the use of the Jedi Order who work along side them. As such, Ruins that had been build around a very mysterious relic have now been torn down, and rebuilt to become a Jedi Temple for the Jedi Order, and those who are approved to walk among it's halls.

Recently the renovations of the new Grandmaster have made it to this planet, and the final product has produced what could only be described as a Home away from home for the Jedi order.

NEXUS EFFECTS
Calming essence for those within the courtyard. Strongest the closer to the sword one is to. It acts much like a cleansing effect. Keeping tempers down, and even the hottest of blood to not be as inflamed. If one were to attempt to pull the sword from the stone, touching it as a dark sider would burn them. Causing immense pain. Should I lightsider try to wield it, the sword will only give them a very small feeling of empowerment. However, as soon as they release the sword, it leaves them in an instant.

POINTS OF INTEREST
The Central courtyard, A garden surrounding a pit, with a sword piercing a stone.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
It is unsure as to why the sword is in the stone. Nor is it confirmed who created the sword. Studies have been done on the rock, and the tests have shown it is foreign to the planet, and has no crystalline match with any other known rock in the system. The sword is of unknown make but is assumed of a durasteel Damascus equivalent.

Many theories have come from this.
Theory One: Luke Skywalker had discovered a way to create a sword for the Jedi to use. However, with the various adventures he was on, and not wanting it to get into the hands of Sith, or others who he didn't want to use against him and the Jedi, he hid it upon the planet, and encased it in a stone with the force to only allow those who are pure of light to wield it.

Theory Two: During the rapid expansion of the Rakatan or otherwise called the Infinite Empire, the Je'daii had created a Force Imbued sword that was so powerful that none of their masters, or users of the force could even wield the blade. Thus they sealed it away on an unknown planet to them, and the Infinite Empire so that someone who was powerful enough could use it against the dark side of the force, and bring forth peace.

Theory Three: During the Rise of the Dark Lord, Darth Vader and his Master Darth Sidious, An unknown Jedi forged a sword that could kill them with pure light. However, this jedi disappeared, either perished before being able to use it, or hid it as he was discovered for fighting the Empire and chose to hide it from Vader. Thus sealing it into a stone with the force to prevent the destruction of the blade, as well as keeping it safe from dark siders.

While many of these theories have their merits, and run along the same lines, there are holes in all of these ideas and the last theory is one that seems to have the lowest amount of holes in its idea.

A Force user pure of heart forged the blade out of the force. The tools used to create the weapon was of the light, and was forged for the soul purpose to find one true warrior of the light side of the force to wield it. So this mysterious person sat it on a remote planet. Letting nature hide it for only those who could reach it's presence. Sealing it within the stone as a sign of strength, and the pure light side of the force empowering the wielder so that their spirit will be pure. A test of Knowledge, Strength and of the Spirit. to see who is the one to bring balance to the force.

Many of these theories are thrown aside as folklore and just told to inspire students to stay on the straight and narrow. Or just that someone decided to play a prank on the Jedi and in doing so, created something else. However, one thing is very real.

The stories and myths lead many to want to pull the sword from the stone, and wield it. Yet no one has. Will you test your mettle and see if you are this mysterious Warrior that is pure of the mind, heart, and spirit?

I guess you will just have to try for yourself.

As per Codex rules:

"7. Members wishing to submit a Force Nexus to their planet must undertake the Force Nexus mission on the Restricted Materials list. Force Nexus Location submissions must have adequate explanation of the Nexus effects and reasonable OOC intent. Completing the mission does not guarantee your Nexus will be approved if the intent or description is lacking."

And from the restricted materials page regarding the requirements for the Force Nexus:

"Embark on a quest to locate / create and research the Nexus in question. The larger and more powerful the Nexus, the more unique writers should be involved in the process. There is no set post limit, though you should tell a complete story."

Do you have a thread to fulfill these requirements?

[member="Feeto Chivaro"], I do not have a thread done at the current moment. It slipped my mind during creation. I apologize about that. I will speak to those within the Jedi Order about getting a thread done, and will get back to you about it. I do not know how long it may take, so you may archive this if you deem fitting.

Thank you for your time.
