OOC Note - Gil is aware of this thread. I believe a few Mandalorians have been made aware. The objective is to steal a crate of Stygium from a freighter, or the freighter itself. Escort (Light) both onboard and around the freighter. There will be an OOC for this thread.
Deep within the cargo hold of the bulk freighter, one of the containers began emanating a soft beep. This beep was relatively low and didn't garner much attention, but what was inside the container soon would. The freighter itself had made several stops and picked up different cargo containers as well as made it's normal drop-offs and one of the containers was only recently added to the list. This was the same container that appeared to be malfunctioning. Within the container, something stirred and a set of blue optical lenses appeared to glow in the darkness and then vanished. The sound of the beeping continued only for another moment before the hissing of leaking atmosphere filled the air of the cargo hold. Any patrols within the area would become alerted briefly and head in the direction of the noise, but by the time they arrived they would arrive to find nothing but a container that show a malfunction on the control unit. If opened, they would see the contents appeared to be undisturbed and nothing out of place.
The living thing within, have moved on.
Like a Corellian sand panther, she crawled atop the massive crates towards the first target, moving through the shadows like an ominous figure. Occasionally she was exposed by a light and then she vanished into the dark once more. The Mandalorian patrolling below stopped and looked behind him and then up at the hanging light, and then at the crate infront of him. "Must have been my imagination..." And when he turned, that is when he saw the eyes of the blue creature attack. The quickness she displayed was beyond anything this young Mandalorian had ever seen, she applied a technique from the art of Broken Gate, her right palm thrusting up into his plated underside, buckling him in and locking the shoulder tight and then with a twist she used the momentum to flip him over on his back with a thud. As he tried to move and come to, a hard boot came down in a solid stomp to his chin causing the barrel receptors within his jaw to violently rattle and caused pressure to be applied. When it was done, the land of dreams had taken the young Mandalorian and his body was soon concealed in the shadows. Within moments of disposing of the sleeping Mandalorian, she moved onto her next target.
Again, on the tops of the containers, crawling along, stalking her prey. There was one more Mandalorian to be taken care of before she would move further into the ship.
Some would ask, why was she here? The answer was simple --- Stygium. She had been contracted by a supposed mysterious figure to steal a container and after a few days of research and manifest hunting, she discovered this to be the lightest guarded stash coming from Aeten II, or atleast it seemed. She could never be so sure with Mandalorians, they were interesting people. A very proud race, down the line of her life she had made a few friends and alot of enemies, only one enemy had been Mandalorian and she settled that score years ago. Oh those were the fun days....
Speaking of fun days, she wondered how Ashin was doing...~Mission, Kara, mission~. She shook her head and continued to stalk the upper containers, the H.U.D displaying the radar signature on her eyepiece, the Mandalorian was close but she still had no visual. How interesting....
