Take a Chance..

Aryan sat next to the window she sigh as she look out seeing the small city. Everyone busily walking by either going to work or to go shop the loud noise they made, this is what she gets for living in a cheap place in the city. Lack of sleep hearing the club music and everyone conversation that's about a few feet away from her room, she didn't want this life in fact she picture he life to be very very different.. she didn't ask to have her house burn down when she was 7, she didn't want to be a slave until she was about 20.. she certainly didn't want to work in a small club until she died.

Hapes wasn't a bad place in fact it was grate for those who have credits and better luck then her but for those who don't have credits or have bad luck like she did then it certainly is a horrible place. If you don't have enough credits then people treat you like dirt.. and it doesn't help when the only place that would higher Aryan barley pay her enough to afford cloths, a better place to stay if she wanted something like that then she would have to live with out eating for a few days or even months. Lucky her boss would cook something up and share it with her if there was any thing left over he would let her take it home but sadly that wasn't every day thing it was something small he try to do to help her.

It wasn't like her job was horrible in fact she enjoy it just not the people. The man there would try and grab once she turn away from them and make crude comments, it was enough to make her want to run away from the life she have but with the credits she had now it wasn't enough. Tho there was one man she meat a few months back he recognize Aryan last name and ask if she she might be related, she agreed to meet the man after work where he was kind enough to buy her diner and begin to describe the man known only as Xanatos. Aryan knew right away that it had to be her brother there was no doubt about this when she arrived to her ratty room she begin to come up with a plan to leave the planet, disappointed she realize that it would take about 10 years before she even get enough.. that's with out eating.

Aryan stood up walking away from the window she glance over to see the time "Crap" she said quietly to herself she realize that she was going to be late and that meant she would loose an hour of pay. Quickly changing into her work cloths she begin to make her way out of the hotel making her way through the crowded streets. Finely she made it to the bar and she could see some of the originals waiting for there drinks again sighing to herself she went into the back and begin to mix drinks "10 more years...brother.." she said quietly to herself while she begin to mix up another drink.

Few things in life defined who you were. Zaren believed in that. But when it came to a Jedi potential, it was, how old were you, and were you willing to become a Jedi. Throughout his entire Jedi Knight career, he wasn't certain as to how teenagers and adults weren't aware of their own force sensitivity. It was something that your parents found out at your birth, but he figured that it the parents who disposed of that message.

Do they want their children to live a normal life? To not have to die in a dangerous world on some backwater planet of a battlefield? It makes sense. He thought to himself. But it wasn't right in his mind. If you were able to affect the world in a good way, then he believed that you should, to the best of your ability. If people didn't see the potential in themselves, then it didn't matter, because he did with the Force.

The Jedi Master walked into the club. He had met people from all over the Galaxy. In different sectors of space, they told him the signs of Force in the public. His job, was to offer them a chance at becoming a future Jedi Knight, and finding a Master for them.

Glancing side to side, it wasn't his first time in a club. He knew how to dress. Although the layouts of clubs were all different, they were all the same at heart. Zaren's senses extended outwards to feel out the force sensitive. There were multiple within the club, only a handful however, less than 5 certainly, but there was only one who actually had the potential to become a Jedi. He had been doing this for a while, he could tell that sort of thing.

Early twenties was kind of late, more or less the last call for your abilities to be honed and perfected...

He brushed through a crowd and eventually got to the bar. He felt his target was returning to the bar, probably for more drinks or a break, he was unsure, but she was moving directly towards him. He waited for a moment and then said, "there's a mess upstairs, I need one of your waitresses to help me." Even if the club didn't do that sort of thing, Zaren was a sort of... Tall fellow. Imposing, and with a frightening stature. When he asked things of people, from pure fear they complied. Sometimes you had to do things to get what you wanted.

Now, it was all up [member="Aryan Xanatos"] to react when her manager told her what to do...

Aryan finely reach the back room for her brake at lest she could have a hour brake before going back out. Today the crowd seem to be more rowdy then usual more man reaching out and garbing her in places they shouldn't, more people going over there drinking limit and trying to start a fight either with her or someone else. She was use to this.. when she was a slave she had to deal with people doing the same thing of course they never really went any further then just grabbing her.. and when they start a fight she would teach them not to mess with her.. all in all she could take care of herself if any thing happen.

Five minutes on brake and the door flew open making a loud bang noise, opening her eyes Aryan could see her boss walking in grumbling to himself as he look to see who was there. "Ahh Aryan, I need you to head up stairs to clean a room.. Seems one of our guest had a little to much fun if you know what I mean." the man laugh at the crude unspoken meaning to his words. Aryan watch her boss and slightly shook her head "Sir, I just got on brake... can't Jhon do it? Or how about Zan?" again her boss laugh shaking his head at her question "No I need a bouncer at all time. Not to mention you know darn well that someone needs to tend the bar!" hearing his words Aryan closed her eyes there was no point in arguing it seem she won't be getting a decent brake for today, getting up she begin to rummage though the closet for some cleaning supplies once she got what she was looking for she head out the door straight to the stairs.

Once at the room she knock on the door waiting for someone to reply, she couldn't hear any thing "Hello, anyone in there?" she called out trying to get her voice heard over the music again there was no answer. "Hmm must have left I guess." she pull out a spare key for the room and begin to unlock the door once it was open she walk slowly in.

When the manager walked off, and [member="Aryan Xanatos"] appraoched, Zaren got up from the bar and walked upstairs. He took his time. He already decided what his game plan was. Ask her what she wanted in the future, tell her how and an estimate to how long he could give it to her, and then leave with or without them. Whether she sought him out again would be up to her. He had already decided there would be deviations, but only slightly... Only thing he had to do now was get in his room...

Why he had even returned to the Jedi Order? They required his assistance. He wasn't requested by some Jedi Master, no, it appeared he wasn't that important, but within the past few months and battles, he had heard the Jedi Order had lost many of it's heaviest hitters. It's only chances at winning battles, gone. [member="Kiskla Grayson"] had disappeared off of Manaan, [member="Marcello Matteo"] not seen again, @Kira (Talith) Liadain@ he had no idea of, and Sarge Potteiger, the one he knew as Preacher was gone too. Where had they all gone, Bishop had no idea. Dead? He doubted it, they were all great fighters he knew.

The current Order's Masters? They couldn't match up, not in his eyes, not until he fought with them on the battlefield. They're... Philosophers and scholars... Not warriors. @Phylis Alince's and [member="Ryan Korr"]'s faces appeared respectively in his mind's eye. Wasn't Ryan Korr on the Council? That was a Jedi he could follow. On and off the battlefield. He viewed the Sith in a familiar way to how Zaren viewed them, if what little interactions they've had together were interpreted correctly.

He felt her presence at the door, and as soon as she knocked, there was a slow enough reaction to turn off the music, but once it had been, the door opened. So she had come he deduced. He walked across the hall back to his room. He didn't like to waste time on... Well anything. He was sat on the edge of the bed, already placing his phrik greaves back on his legs. It wasn't as long as it seemed, or maybe he had gotten used to do it over the past year or two. It was one of the times in the day where he was truly left alone to think.

The only light in the room, was from the dimmer light in the corner, reflecting off of his armour, leaving half of his face in darkness. "There is no need to be scared." He said just loud enough for her to hear. And he continued with his endeavour of putting his armour back on.
