High Commander of the Lilaste Order
"It was a stalemate on Umbara," Laphisto said with a small frown and a shake of his head. "No real victors, unfortunately. The Mandalorians simply turned their war machine in a different direction." A light chuckle rumbled from his throat, though it didn't quite reach his eyes. Then he raised a brow as he noticed her restless tapping pent-up energy practically radiating from her. She was getting antsy, and perhaps ready. for more than simulations tests and drills "As for the planet you mentioned no one owns it, per se. But it's under heavy Sith influence at the moment. That said, the Diarchy has a strong foothold there too. The whole place is locked in a stagnant civil war… some wanting to align with the Diarchy, others clinging to Sith loyalty."
Her reaction to the mention of Dark Side users didn't go unnoticed. Laphisto's expression softened. "I know it's hard to accept. But those who follow the Dark Side within the Order. they've chosen discipline over domination. Control over chaos. We don't allow Sith doctrine to flourish here, no cruelty, no conquest, no ideology of supremacy. They use the Dark Side, yes, but they use it with purpose, not hate. And they're held to the same code of honor as every other member of the Order."
He paused for a moment to let that settle, then offered her a slight grin. "They're not monsters. Just people, warriors. brothers and sisters in arms with different methods, trying to do the same good in a broken galaxy. You'll see that, in time." When she pointed at him and asked what the right questions were, his grin widened ever so slightly, and he let out a short laugh. "Well, for starters, I suppose one of those questions might be Are you ready for some real training? A spar just you and me. Let's see how much of your old form you've kept sharp. and give you a healthier release for all that energy than bouncing off the walls."
