Faction Tactical Training Complex

High Commander of the Lilaste Order
Adjacent to the Armament Depot, the Tactical Training Complex stands as a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to preparing the forces of the Lilaste Order for any combat scenario. This comprehensive training ground is seamlessly integrated with the Armory, allowing for efficient transitions between equipment preparation and combat training.

The entrance to the Tactical Training Complex is through a reinforced door that opens into a wide corridor. The walls are lined with motivational posters and displays showcasing the illustrious history of the Lilaste Order, inspiring recruits and veterans alike as they head to their training sessions.

The complex itself is divided into several key areas, each designed to provide different aspects of combat training:

Virtual Reality Combat Simulators

One section of the facility is dedicated to cutting-edge virtual reality (VR) combat simulators. Dozens of VR pods line the walls, each equipped with the latest in immersive technology. Inside these pods, trainees experience hyper-realistic combat scenarios, ranging from urban warfare to deep space skirmishes. The simulators can replicate a wide variety of environments and enemy types, allowing soldiers to hone their skills in a controlled but challenging setting. Advanced AI opponents adapt to the trainee's tactics, ensuring a dynamic and engaging training experience.

Live Exercise Areas

Beyond the VR simulators, the live exercise areas provide space for hands-on combat training. These areas are versatile and can be reconfigured to simulate different terrains and structures, from dense urban landscapes to rugged wilderness. Obstacles, cover points, and tactical challenges are strategically placed to mimic real-world combat situations. Live-fire drills, using safe, non-lethal training ammunition, allow soldiers to practice marksmanship and tactical maneuvers in realistic conditions.

Combat Training Arenas

Several combat training arenas are scattered throughout the complex, designed for close-quarters combat (CQC) and hand-to-hand fighting. These arenas are equipped with padded floors and walls, ensuring safety during intense sparring sessions. Instructors lead both individual and group training sessions, teaching advanced combat techniques and strategies. The arenas are also used for competitive matches and drills, fostering a spirit of camaraderie and healthy competition among the trainees.

Tactical Classrooms

For theoretical instruction and debriefing, the complex includes tactical classrooms equipped with holographic projectors and interactive displays. Here, soldiers learn about combat theory, strategic planning, and the latest advancements in military technology. Instructors use real-time data and recordings from both VR and live exercises to analyze performance and provide detailed feedback.

Fitness and Conditioning Zone

To ensure peak physical performance, the complex includes a fitness and conditioning zone. This area features various exercise equipment, from weight machines to cardio stations, designed to build strength, endurance, and agility. Specialized training programs focus on the physical demands of combat, ensuring that every soldier is in optimal condition for their duties.

The Tactical Training Complex is a vital component of Aurora Station's defense strategy. By providing comprehensive and realistic training, it ensures that the forces of the Lilaste Order are always prepared for the challenges they may face, both on and off the battlefield. This facility hones their combat skills and fosters teamwork, resilience, and the unwavering determination that defines the Order.

"In Unity, We Find Strength; In Balance, We Forge Destiny."

Those words hung on her mind as she walked towards the training facility. Forge destiny….destiny not something she really ever thought about. Did she even have one or was she just meant to be another face in the endless masses. An orphan of the Maw and Alliance wars she didn't know her origins so how was she supposed to believe she had a future. Yet here she was in organization that claimed to forge destinies, maybe here she would find something.

She walked into the training facility; she was a bit nervous like she was when she walked into the recruitment center. There was no turning back she had made her pledge, and this was her start in something new. Much like when she marched headfirst into wanting to be a detective, she forged ahead.

"Destiny." She whispered under her breath still hanging on that word she looked around the Facility and for one of the personal to help here. She looked at a holoboard that list the directions to certain area's VR combat, Live Exercises, Arena's, Classrooms, and Gym's. Then she looked and saw various trainee's walking to their perspective areas with their gear and uniforms. She just watched them as she waited patiently.

She studied the way they carried themselves and the gear they had on them. She tried to guess which rooms they were headed too. She also tried to guess their personality types all in her head just by their little mannerisms.

Laphisto Laphisto

Voraden Tarkos approached her quietly, his movements fluid and controlled, his crimson cape barely stirring as he walked. When he spoke, his voice was calm, resonating with authority but carrying an undertone of curiosity.

“I am Commander Tarkos,” .he introduced himself, his gaze steady but not intimidating “And you look like someone seeking something more. A purpose, perhaps?

He paused for a moment, studying her face. “What is it that you seek here? Strength? Knowledge? A place to belong?

Voraden's eyes flicked briefly to the holoboard, then back to her. "It’s not always clear in the beginning. Some come here knowing exactly what path they wish to walk—whether it’s military, security, or even something as simple as working the decks. Others, like you, may still be searching for that path."

He offered her a small, reassuring nod. "There’s no shame in not knowing yet. What matters is that you're here, ready to make a choice, ready to forge ahead. If you need help finding your way or deciding where you belong, I’m here to assist. Every path has a beginning, and it’s your effort that will determine where it leads."

His presence was steadying, his tone sincere. “Where do you feel your strengths lie? Or, if you’re not sure yet, what draws you? Combat? Problem-solving? There are many ways to serve, many ways to forge your destiny. And I will help you find yours."
Tru Accardi Tru Accardi

He moved so quietly and smoothly that Tru had noticed him until he spoke. She jumped just slightly at the sound of his voice even though it was calm and rather quiet. He had snapped her out of her focus and thought and her breath was slightly exacerbated. "Oh, god damn." She said as she turned to face him, she looked at his red skin and facial features. She had seen many aliens but his kind she hadn't, she wasn't sure what he was, and it wasn't polite to ask such questions.

Still breathing a little heavy Tru extended her hand. "Nice to meet you commander Tarkos, I'm Tru Accardi but you can just call me Tru." Though her rank was private she didn't exactly know that yet. Tarkos second question was a heavy one though of what she sought. But he went on explaining that many people came here for many different things.

"Well, I joined to be apart of the surveillance team, that fits under the security path. I…" She stopped herself not sure how much she should tell the man up front about her aspirations to be a detective and how it led her this far out into the Galaxy so far from home.

"I have a really good memory I guess."
It was what everyone told her, that she seemed to retain just about everything she saw, read, or otherwise. As for other skills she didn't know much in terms of skill sure she could probably fix a broken clock and had a little mechanical skill, but it was nothing big. "I know a little bit about carbonite." The moment those words left her mouth she felt stupid. Of course, she did know a bit about carbonite but that was relevant to any real skill. "I used to work in a carbonite forge." She followed up explaining not that it really mattered. "But did get inspired to be a detective by a…" Was Fulcrum a friend or acquaintance I mean she had barely known the man, but he had inspired her. "A friend, but it didn't exactly work out."

Voraden Tarkos Voraden Tarkos

Voraden's expression softened slightly as he noticed Tru’s hesitation. He responded calmly, his tone reassuring but firm.

The High Commander values all talents, whether they are obvious or hidden. If you have a sharp memory and an interest in surveillance, you’ve already taken a step in the right direction. It’s not about how much you know now, but what you're willing to learn.”

He glanced at the holoboard once more, as if considering something, then looked back at her. “The Lilaste Order was built on the idea that balance and unity forge our destiny. We all come from different backgrounds, some less conventional than others, but we all contribute to the larger mission. The High Commander has created an environment where people like you can not only find their place but excel.”

He paused, sensing she might still be weighing her options. “Surveillance might be your first step, but don’t let that stop you from exploring more. If there’s something else calling to you—like that detective’s path—pursue it. The High Commander encourages us to follow our strengths and our curiosity.”

With a small, reassuring nod, he added, “I can help you find where your surveillance training begins, or I can assist you in exploring other areas of interest. Whatever you choose, you won’t walk this path alone. This place, the Order, is about shaping who you are and who you want
to be
.”

Those words again forge our destiny, destiny was such a big word to her. She wasn't even sure what the word really meant. She knew the technical meaning of it, but it still seemed so daunting to her. It came from a place of her not even knowing where she came from, sure she knew her home world but her parents or family who they were she had no idea. Usually for a destiny you had to know who you were to know where you might go.

"My background isn't much to talk about, I am just an orphan of the Maw and alliance war, that grew up in convent. When I was eighteen the nuns kicked me out with hundred credits, and I found what ever work I could to survive until I met the detective." That was her life story in a nutshell there wasn't a lot there.

"Destiny is a big word for me to honest. I think I will start with surveillance, before I think of a bigger picture. I would be grateful if you help me out with where to start Commander Tarkos." She gave him a smile of her gratitude but she had to ask before they moved on. "Do you know what your destiny is?"

Voraden Tarkos Voraden Tarkos

Voraden listened quietly, his gaze steady and thoughtful as Tru shared her story. He didn’t interrupt or offer judgment, understanding that everyone’s journey was different and often shaped by struggle. When she mentioned the word “destiny,” a word that weighed so heavily on her mind, his expression softened slightly.

Destiny is a word we often associate with grandeur or something predetermined,” he began, his voice calm and reflective. “But I’ve learned that destiny is not something written in stone. It’s shaped by our choices, our actions, and the paths we take. You don't need to know who you were to forge who you will become.”

He nodded when she decided to start with surveillance, recognizing her pragmatic approach. “Starting with surveillance is a good choice. Sometimes we need to focus on the task in front of us before we can see the larger picture. Every skill you gain will be a step toward whatever you choose your destiny to be.”

When she asked him about his own destiny, Voraden paused for a moment, considering the question with the weight it deserved. His gaze turned distant for a second, as if he were recalling his own journey.

I used to think my destiny was tied to my heritage, to the dark side that runs through my blood. But the High Commander showed me that destiny isn’t about what we inherit or where we come from. It’s about what we make of ourselves. I chose to follow the Lilaste Order because it allows me to walk the path of balance. My destiny isn’t set—it’s something I forge every day.

He gave her a reassuring look, a faint smile on his lips. “And so will you. No matter your past, you can forge your own path here.”

He gestured toward one of the nearby hallways. “Let’s get you started with your surveillance training. That’s the first step. The rest will come in time, and I’ll be here to guide you
if needed
.”

True to his word, Laphisto had given her time to recover before approaching her again for training. She had taken to attending the tactical classrooms and learned about advancements in technology and a few other topics. When Iandre felt more confident in her stamina, she started going to the fitness zone. Even after a few weeks, she was still gaining weight and regaining her muscle tone. Both of these would take more time, but she was happy with her recovery.

This day, she found herself in the conditioning area, stretching on the floor. Hearing steps heading her way, she turned to face the main doors. There might be others also working out, but Iandre mainly kept to herself unless she was forced to work with other people. So far, she had not made any friends, but she did not have any poor relationships with the other cadets.

Laphisto Laphisto

High Commander of the Lilaste Order
Laphisto stepped through the doors of the training room as he entered one of the nearby soldiers barked out his words loud enough for the entire training room to hear " commander on deck!" Followed by a salute it wasn't long till everyone was up in a salute to which laphisto quickly gave a dismissal " dismissed soldier. Keep up the good work" he let the force flow over his eyes as they began darting acrossed the equipment before he spotted Iandre Athlea Iandre Athlea approaching her he gave a small nod before he spoke arms clasped behind his back as he looked down at her " I hear your doing rather well for yourself cadet. Rumor has it your nearly back to full health and should be able to some proper training."

He tapped at his vambrace some what, pulling up her medical file glancing it over slightly and then glancing towards her before teasing her " unless of course your not ready for a real challenge ?"

Joining the other cadets in saluting Laphisto, she did not mind being among them at all. With the old order, she might have gone on several missions with her Master, but she was still a soldier. This was nothing new to her, and Iandre was content with her life as it was. Some things she was getting used to, but she was adjusting rather well to the new era in which she lived.

Giving him a nod of respect, she listened to what he said and chuckled a little. While she was usually pretty stoic, Iandre was learning how to feel and express her emotions. Not in any negative form or manner, but it was nice to have this change happen.

"I've been practicing, sir. You will certainly be a challenge, but I'm up for the spar."

In a way, this was a vision she had come true. Before she could really move and not very long ago, she had seen them sparring. She just hadn't expected it to happen this soon.

Laphisto Laphisto

High Commander of the Lilaste Order
"well your going to need all the strength you can muster, the more practice you get the better you will feel. Or so the saying goes" swiping the medical records away laphisto's arms crossed over his chest a hand grasping his chin in thought as he spoke " how are you adjusting? Well enough I hope? I know it's a change from Jedi to soldier "

Realistically he didn't know much about how the Jedi order operated during the clone wars, but from what little knowledge he was able to gather the Jedi were some what drafted into the military in high command positions and serving as active soldiers not to far off from the current Jedi order with the Alliance and the war with the sith.

Shaking the thoughts from his head he cleared his throat before shooting his gaze back towards her " well from Jedi commander down to enlisted. " Laphisto made sure that the soldiers of the Lilaste order regardless of force sensitivity or lack there of were treated the same. Seamlessly blending them into the same branch with force sensitive individuals getting more training to use Thier abilities more properly, and yet ensuring that they didn't get any special treatment compared to the others. In his mind it's what helped keep things running smoothly. The emphasis on honor and a 'every gear works to turn the machine ' type of attitude. In a way he had tuned the order into his own psudo mandalorian clan well before he officially joined clan order and then was subsequently exiled when the Crusaders showed up.

Iandre Athlea Iandre Athlea

"That seems to be an accurate statement. While I'm certainly not entirely recovered, I'm well on my way to recovery. Thankfully, your medical team and dietitians have been able to help me. Your instructors have also been quite patient with me and have allowed me to take things slightly easier than I expected. Soon, though, I think things will get harder, but I should be able to keep up. Thank you for asking, sir."

She stood at ease, facing him. He was exceptionally tall, but Iandre took it in stride and looked up at him comfortably.

"I have adjusted reasonably well. I'm still getting used to having emotions that I don't need to keep buried. Not as much of a change as you might expect. I was not a commander. Not like some of the other Padawans."

Shrugging her shoulders, her words were truthful in her opinion. She might have been a commander, but she also followed her Master's instructions.

"Do you know how I'm doing in classes?"

So far, she didn't think she was doing poorly, but she hadn't been involved here for very long yet.

Laphisto Laphisto

High Commander of the Lilaste Order
He raised a brow at her statement head half tilting before he pulled his arms crossed over his chest " I see well war isn't an easy thing to go through even tougher on those who haven't experienced it before. When your final starts coming closer you will be placed into live fire exercises. Don't worry to much, the Ion slugs don't hurt that much. I tested them personally." Laphisto let out a small chuckle shaking his head gently before perking his lone ear at her question his arm soon pulling up his vambrace again pulling up the girls current grading giving it a glance over eyes flicking about the screen as he scrolled through " well your on track for graduation, and that's not including the lighter load you have been assigned due to your current condition. So far your doing exceptionally well all things considered"

Pulling up a few more documents he scanned them over before eventually letting his arms rest back at his side. " Once you pass basic training that's when the real fun begins. I have already marked your file to be assigned to me as my apprentice. We used to have a force academy back on kalinda, but when the Royal Naboo Republic moved into the sector we scuttled all of our training facilities to ensure no one else could get Thier hands on them. At the time we didn't know if we could trust them. But Aurora station is out home where ever she goes the order will live on even if that's currently over bastion."

Iandre Athlea Iandre Athlea

Nodding her head with a slight incline, Iandre knew her experience could have been far more. She was thankful her master had kept her sheltered, but wished she had known more. Her life did not diminish her as a warrior or soldier, and she looked forward to learning new skills and harnessing her abilities. These were some of the many reasons she had accepted Laphisto's offer.

Lifting one of her eyebrows at his statement of exercises, she didn't reject or try to escape her duty. She silently hoped she would be ready for them.

"That's wonderful to hear!"

Considering Iandre has been almost unemotional around Laphisto, he should be able to tell she was pleased to learn of her progress. Even though he had said he would personally train her when they met, she had held a slight doubt that it would happen. When he reinforced his word now, that doubt evaporated, and she was happy to know he would keep it.

"You didn't save anything from the facilities? Trust seems to be hard to find outside of established groups. Like the Jedi, the Grand Republic, even here with the Lilaste order, or the Diarchy. Is this accurate?"

He and his people had done their best to make her feel welcome and treated her almost like family. She really should attempt to make friends. It would take time, and hopefully she could accomplish at least this one small thing.

Laphisto Laphisto

High Commander of the Lilaste Order
" what we saved has been downloaded into the archives here on the station. But it was nice to have an actual academy planet side to train force sensitives more effectively," laphisto gave a small nod hand gripping his chin softly in thought while he spoke " though I am currently working with Diarch Reign Diarch Reign and Diarch Rellik Diarch Rellik about building an new academy here on bastion."

When she asked her question about trust laphisto gave a small nod her way " trust is not something so easily given, much of the galaxy sees the diarchy as some off shoot empire, or cultists while the order has a reputation as a mercenary company we have recently earned the title of the Diarchy's enforcers." He half chuckled at that statement with a shake of his head " even if you have good intentions people will be hesitant to trust you if they can not immediately identify you as friend or foe. With the diarchy welcoming both light and dark side users of the force, both Jedi and sith see us as potential enemies"

Iandre Athlea Iandre Athlea

"Bastion must be better in their hands than it was with the Seppies. Are the Trade Federation and Confederacy still around? I would say they were my enemies."

In her recovery, she had forgotten to learn about this more ancient history. What happened after the Clone Wars ended? She had gathered some information, but details like her question weren't easily found. If they were, they had likely changed just as much as the Jedi and the Republic. They were beyond anything Iandre ever imagined, and she did not feel any connection to them.

Letting out a small sigh, his answer was what she expected. Laphisto had not yet lied to her or kept anything hidden when she had asked anything. This heightened her respect for him, and she planned to spend as much time with him as she could. Not that she would try to glue herself to him or anything.

"There must be something that can be done to clear up these misconceptions. As of yet, I don't know who the enemy is currently. Then again, I'm still new to this time. How long did it take you to find your place?"

His answer might provide her with a clue to know how long it might take her.

Laphisto Laphisto

High Commander of the Lilaste Order
" the trade federation is still around and the Confederacy has recently reemerged, though from what iv come to understand this is the third time. Different government same name from what iv gathered. The order has done some work with them on a mission as a counter assault against the Mandalorian Neo crusaders after their attack on Naboo. It seems the Confederacy and the Royal Naboo Republic along side another faction calling themselves the foundation have made an alliance to aid each other in times of crisis. Though these governments carry the same name as the ones from your era they are not the same people nor same ideologies."

Laphisto shook his head gently with a light chuckle parsing from his throat "there is at least some familiarity for you even if it's not good familiarity, when I re awake from Carbonite the Galaxy was completely changed, no Republic no sith empire, the mandalorians were back and a major power but under a different name. On a different phone. Hell truth be told I'm still trying to get adjusted even after twenty years. After the Silver Jedi Concordate freed me from my prison sentence I spent a good half year with my apprentice exploring ancient wrecks from the old Republic, gathering relics and selling them to keep ourselves afoat it was near the end that we found the co-ordinates to Aurora station. Some secret dry dock that was built during the Mandalorian wars as a back up in case the Mandalorians took over the core worlds. The Republic would still have a fall back point "

He thought it over for a moment, he knew that emotional training was an included class for force sensives in the order to help them be able to better control their powered even under extreme stress or under an influx of emotions it was something he ensured would be a course requirement after the unfortunate event that took hold of the Conquest agendas first crew members when they randomly turned on everyone while exploring the dark side In Thier own time when she spoke about enemies he frowned lightly " just remember, just because we are opposition with a group doesn't mean we are enemies. War unfortunately is a natural occurrence it's unavoidable no matter how hard you try. Conflict is akin to breathing. And when conflict arises that doesn't mean we should hate or mark them as enemies. You never know when you might be on the same side some day for what ever reason. So it's good to be able to have that mind set, to be able to think clearly should the time arise when opposition becomes ally."

Iandre Athlea Iandre Athlea

As she listened to Laphisto, she let out a slight growl and bunched one of her fists as he told her the Confederacy was still around. The spike of emotion faded away, though, as he gave her more information. Different governments, different people, and families. When she had more time on her hands, she might investigate these governments and find out how much they have changed.

Iandre found it odd when he said the Confederacy and the people of Naboo were getting along. One thing was sure, and that was change. It was slowly becoming clear to the Jedi that things weren't always so black and white as she had grown up believing. Getting dropped off in this new era, it was time for her to change, too. With the help of the people on the Aurora Station, she could do it.

"How are there so many Jedi and Sith these days? In my time, the Sith were nothing but legend. Now it seems like they are as common as grains of sand."

While she only mentions the Sith, the same could be said for the Jedi.

"Or even non-fullly aligned Force users. I suppose that would apply to us."

Her tone turned it into a slight question, but she didn't give it voice entirely. Taking a moment to itch at her eyes, she showed some thought on what he said. Lowering her hand, she gave him a look of confusion.

"I highly doubt I'm ever going to be able to sit down and have coffee with a Sith. I'll keep your suggestion in mind."

Laphisto Laphisto

High Commander of the Lilaste Order
Laphisto raised a brow as he felt the sharp spike of emotion from her at the mention of the Confederacy. His voice remained calm as he offered clarification. "This is the third iteration of the Confederacy as a government," he explained. "Different leadership. Different laws. Different goals. But... same name and oddly enough, the same emblem. The Lilaste Order actually took a contract with them once. We helped push back a Mandalorian invasion." He gave a small chuckle, arms folding across his chest as he nodded in her direction.

"The Sith Order these days is more than just Dark Side Force-users. They've got soldiers, civilians, infrastructure. An entire society under their banner. I wouldn't expect you to sit down and get along with every Dark Side user out there and honestly, I wouldn't either The Lilaste order recently engaged the sith forces over Serreno a while back, while you were still recovering." His tone didn't change, but the honesty behind his words was clear.

"The Sith Order is the dominant Dark Side power now, sure but there are plenty of Force-users who wield the Dark and don't follow their ideology. We've got a few of them here in the Lilaste Order. Dark Side aligned, yes, but not Sith. They're not driven by conquest or cruelty. They're... balanced, in their own way." He paused for a moment, glancing upward in thought as she asked her question about the sheer number of Force users in this era. "I can't give you a precise answer," he admitted. "Even in my time, Force-users weren't this common. But I have a theory." He looked back to her, his voice more reflective.

"Over the centuries, Jedi and Sith both began allowing families children, relationships, legacies. That alone could explain the increase. More Force-sensitive bloodlines surviving. Spreading. Strengthening hell iv met a skywalker and a palpatine once, each claimed to be from some great jedi lineage and the other from some sith lord. ant say i know who they were talking about but they seemed proud of thier heritage." He shrugged slightly. "But that's just speculation. I've been out of time more than I've been part of it." Laphisto offered her a small smile, faint but sincere. "I don't have all the answers… but I've lived long enough to start asking the right questions."

Iandre Athlea Iandre Athlea

The soothing and calm tone Laphisto offered helped Iandre to regain control of her emotions. She had started to accept them and express them appropriately. Right now, it wasn't one of the best times to show them, so she calmed down and listened to her Master.

"Yes, of course. It's strange, though. Going to sleep in one...well, you would understand far better than pretty much anybody else. Thank you for being so patient with me. Did you succeed in pushing the Mandalorians back and preventing their invasion?"

Besides change, war also seemed to be eternal. Lightly tapping her fingers together, there was a touch of pent-up energy within Iandre. Listening to what Laphisto was saying drew a slight nod from her. His answers helped her gain some understanding and comprehension.

"Another planet the Seppies controlled in my time. Who holds it now?"

She almost winced when he told her there were actual Dark Side users within the Order. When she had been rescued, she was told this, but she found it hard to believe. So she had chosen not to. Now he told her the same thing, having previously demonstrated his ability. She couldn't help but trust him.

When he gave her his opinion about the number of Force users, she nodded. In her time, one of the rules was no attachment. With that one change, there is a good chance his opinion is correct. Giving him a bit of a smile at his showing of humor, she pointed a finger at him lightly.

"What are the right questions?"
