SPECIAL FEATURES

  • Internal power supply: A miniature power generator with a high energy output and high durability, but extensive maintenance if failures occur.
  • Tactical HUD: An interactive connection to the armour integrated sensors and scanners as well as The Phalanx's scanners, sensors and strategium gives a 3D HUD with the possibility to access a large variety of information. Tactical display and map, troop locations, targeting reticules, range finders, ultraviolet vision, infrared vision and night vision.
  • TIU connection: Through electrically-motivated fibre connectors the armour suit is connected to the wearer with neutral sensor points around the body and spinal cord. This allows for the armour to act as a second skin rather than a bulky suit, amplifying the wearer strength and speed as well as reflexes due to the connections to the integrated scanners.
  • Life support: The armour features a rebreather unit to clean dirty or toxic atmosphere, allowing for unlimited deployment in Type III atmoshperes but also allowing deployment in atmospheres were a minimum of oxygen was present, utilising this bit, but only working for a limited amount of time. Additionally the armour features an automated-TIU controlled system to inject pain suppressors or combat stims.
  • Pressure system: For a limited time the armour suit allows the wearer to be deployed in space, utilising saved oxygen reserves to breath.

STRENGTHS

  • Handcrafted: All armours are crafted to suit the individual bodies of the Rim-Guard cadres members. Therefore they allow a maximum of comfort, flexibility and protection.
  • Enclosed: Allows for a deployment in nearly all environments, adding a great versatility.
  • Second skin: Due to the armour connection to the wearer, they are despite their weight like a second skin, allowing for greater strength and speed, while allowing a very good protection.
WEAKNESSES

  • Lightsabers: The armour is not made to protect against lightsabers and can only save from short contacts with such a weapon but will not prevent any serious piercing attempt.
  • Maintenance: The systems of the armour are very complex and therefore the maintenance of the armour is very time consuming if a system should fail.
  • Unique sets: Due to the individuality of each set, they are time-consuming to replace and re-produce.
  • Chain reaction: There is the very slight possibility that during a malfunction of the internal power supply, the suit of armour is getting permanently destroyed and killing the wearer due to neural connections overloading and melting.
DESCRIPTION
With the mounting of the expedition into the unknown, Ecthelion Aiglos had the intention to gather and find new sources of power for his service and himself, therefore he made certain preparation in regards to supplies and equipment, as well as those who could work with it.

When the first cadre of Rim-Guards was recruited and slowly turned to their service attitude, a solution for their equipment was needed and inspiration was taken by the original Knights of Zakuul as well as including modern developments. A plated set with the inclusion of a power source and a neural connection to the wearer was designed, a general concept but applied to every individual as a handcrafted set. Its aim was to protect the new warriors against both atmosphere and all forms of ordinary combat, to give these soldiers a unique versatility.

The armour is manufcatured by a group of metallurgists and armoursmiths on board of The Phalanx which was privately contracted by Aiglos. Taking measure on each knight after their indoctrination, the plates and other parts are designed to fit like a second skin. A special addition to this hand-crafting and individual forging, is the engraving of the new name of the knight on the inside of the chest plate. It is not their birthname, but a name of choosing and for every deed accomplished, for every achievement and fulfilled task, another name is added.

Just one thing for you, your submission is a little overpowered, could you perhaps lower some of the ratings or add some weaknesses?

Hello!

I have increased the weight to Extreme, added the weakness "Chain Reaction" and lowered the lightsaber resistance to Low, plus added the resistances against "Force: None" and "Electronical Warfare: High".

Will that be sufficient?

Okay, Aurelian Sigismund Aurelian Sigismund

You are still two points overpowered.

This weakness seems very "fluff", in terms of actuality it would be highly unlikely of this effect going off. You can keep it as a weakness but if it is meant to balance the submission I suggest an edit, lowering, or adding a lesser rating.
