Designed from scavenged parts collected over the years in the underworld of Nar Shaddaa, it exhibits a beautifully polished, silvery cylindrical barrel, which breathes a crisp whistle when the gun is fired. Thus, it was named the Whistleflute.
The pistol is very accurate but not entirely powerful. While its fire is certainly deadly within a range of 30 meters, its impact might be more questionable at higher ranges. Its blasts can reach a range of 50 meters before losing all potency. Its durasteel armor penetration decreases exponentially in conjunction with range, from absolutely at 10 meters to inconsequential at 40+ meters.
The firearm is small and lightweight and--due to its lesser blast power--has little kick when fired, enabling the user to shoot multiple shots accurately in quick succession. Maintenance is simple for Tacitanya since she built it herself.
