Strengths:
Fast & Agile: The Tachi sacrifices her overall defenses in the name of outrunning and outmaneuvering those that would seek to chase her.
Weakened Armor: Her armor is thinner than most in her class, this was due to quantity over quality.
No Hangar: Tachi does not have a hangar and thus has no way of deploying even miscellaneous shuttles or runabouts to defend her.
Overwhelmed: Not built for anything more than a small hit and run, she can be easily hit from a salvo of torpedoes. Where as a warship built in the same dimensions may be more suited to handle more than one salvo - the Tachi cannot.
As part of the effort to establish herself within the Outer Rim, namely within its Coalition. Fiolette Yvarro with the help of Josephina Mahlowe. Developed a fast freighter ship, which would rely more on its speed than anything else. This was partly to help the Coalition move goods a little bit faster and to give those who hadn’t already had one, a starting freighter.
The Tachi was also made with the Wretched Hive in mind. So, she would be a barebones build allowing those who could afford the custom mods from the Wretched Hive to do so. The Tachi’s near paper thin armor is only covered by a standard shield that can easily be disabled by ion weaponry the ship herself would be more vulnerable to say an ion torpedo as that would end its existence due to her below average defense ratings.
