 Table Code Feedback

Hello,

Was playing around with the Table code (not using 'Collapse' option) and found a few things:
  1. If you create a two column table, and the content in the left column is much larger than the right column, the right column will be automatically shrunken to the point of being crushed against one side of the table.
  2. When the right column is crushed in this manner, not even a transparent image can prevent it. The image is automatically resized even if you manually specify the width and height for the image.
  3. A string of equal signs '======' in the smaller column appears to maintain that column's shape despite an overwhelming amount of text in the larger column.
  4. Not sure if it is possible to manually specify the column widths of a table. Tried width=, style=, cols= for TH and TD.
  5. Table columns appear to be vertically centered. If one column is taller/longer than another, the shorter column's content is vertically centered.
  6. If using the column width workaround above (====), a transparent and tall image can be used to help compensate for the vertical alignment issue. Though both of these workarounds are sloppy and inflexible.
Thank you for all your work in tweaking and programming.
