DETAILED SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Rotating gun turret - Standard barrel of the weapon
  • External sensor view - Camera like unit used for up-close targeting
  • (When plasma rounds are used) Overheating coolant - General use coolant used to stop the plasma core from overheating and melting the steel
  • (When plasma rounds are used) Power core - Used to charge the plasma shells
  • (When plasma rounds are used) Energy overload discharger - In the unlikely case that the coolant fails to do its job, there is an external hatch which will discharge all of the current energy stored. Should be noted that this will come out in the form of lighting and thus can be hazardous to crew.
  • Coordinates relay system - If there is an external satellite or forward spotter being used, firing coordinates can be relayed back
  • Support crew and maintenance shafts - If the weapon fails, there is enough room for crew to maneuver
  • (When artillery ordnance shells are used) Shell re-loader - Very large artillery shells that reload after the previous fires.
  • Stabilizers - The sheer force of the weapon firing would actually cause it to fall upside down on itself. Stabilizers in the form of drills which dig into the ground and grow in size remedy this. On a spaceship, this usually doesn't need to be taken into consideration.

Strengths:

  • Long range - can fire at long distances where potential targets would have difficult shooting back
  • Packin' heat - If left firing for too long, this thing will most definitely shred through armour or emplacements
Weaknesses :
  • Inaccurate - Against small targets, the margin for error is simply too great for this to be effective
  • Power drainer - The plasma shells when attached to a spaceship limit the amount of cannons that can be used, that is if the admiral wants their life support systems to keep running.
DESCRIPTION

The T-1 Grand munitions battery is a duel purpose artillery ordnance sheller designed both for ground defenses and on-board starship weaponry. Packing both the bunch of regular arms and futuristic plasma shelling capabilities, this deadly strategic weapon is a force to be reckon with, whether it be on the grasslands of Naboo or the dead space of the Outer Rim.

The confident crewman can make excellent use of this, having built in coordinate based firing and being able to make rough automated calculations based on visual indicators (such as smoke), when designated on the firing console's panel.

Improving on the hyper velocity cannon to pack more of a punch into a shell, with the trade-off being firing less. Although, shells are inaccurate against small-medium targets, making it susceptible to ammo wastage. Put it on a capital ship and have it bombarding, suddenly its effectiveness is improved ten-fold, since well, it's basically impossible to miss such large targets.
