System Upgrades

[Isis Varida]

Isis was looking at the new model Carrack class and it was a thing of beauty for herself to mke. As the compartments were being worked on she took the time to see to Ayumi's needs with food and rink but more then that packages of supplies that were set to slowly trickle in of gear and equipment. She had a look on her face while going about some of the different things before speaking. "Alright we'll work on installing this miniture flame unit to the bracers first." She had the hydrospanner and equipment but also things were being done on the ship.

Ayumi was looking in awe at the Liran as the woman seemed so in control within her own ship and here in this main workstation she could see why. They had a beast of a ship, aside from powering the guns with a solar ionization reactor there was a secondary and just as powerful hypermatter reactor designed to handle the extra systems. The inclusion of them getting the packages with gear to work on was well worth it while she was sitting there tinkering to get the casings just right to fit all they needed and rotate on the wheels of the newly modified bracers.

Isis finished the sections of the casing that would be able to hold the flame projector and canister of fuel. Not a lot but enough to burn some who weren't expecting it while she was working on the triggering mechanism. Integrating it into the palms for firing when one clenched and the systems for the computer in the helmet. She was working on it and watching the Liran engineers work on the circuits of the ship to shield them from emp and ion weapons. Redundant wires and back ups they could use and have working on the different sections of the ship to seal it off. She was working on the casing now for the fuel.

Ayumi was looking at the flamer unit as they were working on it and well this reminded her of Camellia and her working on everything. They had gotten into the habit of building things together when many weren't willing to try and help. Slowly though now as she was working on the fuel canister it was well worth it. Looking over the design as she went about securing the golden rod to the bracer, her designs and input on the display for the different systems while the Liran's were working on the ship itself to shield the circuits and create back ups within the shell of it. "There we go, it is starting to look better but we'll need to make sure the device can spin and fire it off."

There was a look while she was grinning with that and working with the hydrospanner. The Liran's were working hard and in this compartment almost done working on the parts of the ship in the room. THey had so much more to work with but testing it out ont he range while targets were being brought in and Isis stood up working with the bracer to get the inner rings adjusted for her arm. She could feel the heft of it with the canisters but it could be made lighter with some materials like hybrid plexisteel and that would make it more resistant to blasters. She adjusted it and finally had it set while holding the one. "Better but we'll change the metal."

Ayumi looked at her as she rose up and was moving over to help adjust the bracers while working on the equipment. Slowly making the connections with the hydrospanner before she was moving with her attention towards the equipment as it was secured. "It is looking good, and plexisteel is lighter with energy resistance. We could use that there is plenty with Sasori for their products." She had a smirk thinking about some of it before she was letting her attention to to the golden canisters of their equipment moving t the side and looking down range. "THis should be quiet a good way to go, test it and see how it goes."

Isis was looking it over and gave a nod of her head to that, they were ready to at least test to see that it worked and could select the flame unit and multi tool at least as she got a helmet and put it on hooking the system up to her.As she moved it towards the testing area there was a look on her face and Isis ws letting the systems sync as the information came up to her visual. Then she was flicking her eyes to switch while the motor whirred and the multi tool was selected ejecting for her to work on things. Then she retracted it and selected the flame unit before it ejected and Isis was taking aim on the helmet to fire upon the targets.

Ayumi was watching the targeting while she moved around though the room seeing the engineers working. The holographic targets were being attacked and she watched the data for the information with a grin on her face. "Pretty." Her thoughts were on ways to improve it as she was looking over and the twenty seconds of streaming flame were a great way to have things happen. "We might be able to squeeze a little more fuel in there but best to keep it contained and focused I think."

Isis was watching the targets while seeing the results, the jet of flame was burnign hotter then expected but not going the distance they wanted. Well okay it was a draw back but a good one as more heat over a smallr area could come in handy beofre she was moving back and letting the barrel spin on her arm. They had many more attachments and upgrades to test while the ship was being worked on and she had a smile on her face now. "Alright then we'll work on it and get the other thing. We'll test them with the ship in the field as they modify the weapons."

Ayumi was looking at Isis as she had the grin on her face looking over the upgrades of the equipment. "We'll get the things and test them in the field, perhaps test out this ship as well while we are doing it on some of the pirate worlds. I have a serious need to work on things and my skills in and force are nothign to really scoff at." She was not telling the full truth but she wanted to work on the equipment and they could use it on the important ones.. the pirates who liked to come after them and bother them
