Not long after turning eighteen and fully coming to understand the practical abilities of the Force in lightsaber combat, Syrena's former master left her the components that would be necessary for her to build herself a lightsaber as he knew she would have imagined it. While the flare of it was not something he felt was necessary he knew that in his departure she would need something worth holding as a memory of his presence in her life.
