Intent: To develop a cheaper, synthetic substitute for tibanna, for use in the event that the tibanna monopoly was ever harmed or collapsed.

Manufacturer: Emeritus Industries
Model: Syntibanna(Synthetic Tibanna)
Affiliation: Open Market
Modularity: No
Production: Mass-Produced
Material: Reconstituted nebular gas
Description: Syntibanna was a recent development, originally put forth by then-Subach-Innes as part of a CIS plan to prevent Omega Protectorate tibanna lines from being cut off in the event that they restricted exports. When Subach was 'dissolved,' the project passed back to Circe herself, and later to the now-Emeritus Industries.
Syntibanna is a synthetic tibanna substitute, made similar to tibanna thanks to molecular reintegration of nebular gas from Colluctari(though nebular gas from any nebula could be used, making the product exceedingly cheap). The syntibanna molecules are, on average, lighter in weight than tibanna, which roughly means that they achieve a 90-95% efficiency compared to the currently utilized material. This means that a starship, weapon, or any other device using Syntibanna will require refueling more often(but considering the much reduced price, it would take centuries for using tibanna to be more cost-efficient than the synthetic option).
Whether syntibanna proves to catch on or not depends on acceptance of it, but considering its ease of interchangeability with the currently utilized tibanna, such a changeover would not be extraordinarily costly. Of note however, syntibanna cannot currently be converted to anything comparable to TibannaX - only standard tibanna.
