SPECIAL FEATURES
Synthetic Lightsaber crystal that has been cleansed, creating a blade that has a much much higher chance of breaking lightsaber blades while remaining impossible to break itself, grinding lightning much better while being even easier to swing than a lightsaber with a natural lightsaber crystal. Will not short out when exposed to Cortosis.
Special machinery allows the blade to extend by a third of its length, retract to a third of its length, and a special, non-lethal setting that renders the blade capable of passing through organic tissue without harming it, merely leaving it stunned.
Strengths:
Rip and tear: Anything not in lightsaber proof material is pretty much doomed.
Purity: Once belonging to a Sith Warrior who had taken it from someone else, Laertia used the force to cleanse the crystal of the dark while subjecting it to certain chemical processes she has still refused to disclose. The result is a blade that seems unable to be broken by any other lightsaber blade, while greatly increasing its chances of breaking even a synth blade at three times the average odds, yet is even more easily swung than an average lightsaber with a natural crystal. In addition it grinds lightning excellently, and will not sort out if exposed to Cortosis.
Variable-Length: Special machinery inside allows Laertia to extend the blade a third of its length or reduce it to a third of its length, allowing her to surprise someone on battle
Mercy: The machinery also allows for a non-lethal stun setting. The blade will pass through an organic but neither cut nor burn, instead having a high chance of knocking them out cold
Weaknesses:
Water: Water shorts it out.
Voids: Will not work in force voids
Metals weakness: While the lightsaber is still capable of eventually cutting or damaging lightsaber resistant metals, it will take far more swings or far longer direct contact with the blade to even heat them.
Deflection weakness: It can only withstand and absorb blaster bolt shots but cannot deflect them.
Slugs: slug ammo reacts like slug ammo usually reacts to lightsaber blades...melting and possibly causing splash damage
Sonics: Sonics will travel through the blade
DESCRIPTION
The lightsaber first used by Laertia as a padawan after defeating her first Sith using an Atrisian Shikomizue or cane sword, The SynthBreaker was made after Laertia purified the Sith's crystal, while using a chemical process that altered the crystal at a molecular level, resulting in its peculiar properties. Laertia used this lightsaber for some time as a padawan, having not truly constructed her own until Mimban. While not as protective as her standard lightsaber, The SynthBreaker is still a highly dangerous and specialized lightsaber, capable of overpowering other synth blades and possibly allowing Laertia a fatal strike against an opponent in the follow-up.
