She is selfish and has no qualms about turning on "allies of the moment", and usually makes allies primarily to further her own goals. She will go as far as to harm others to get what she wants, doing whatever she can get away with. She is out for herself, shedding no tears for those she kills, whether for profit, sport, or convenience. She has no love of order and holds no illusion for following laws, or traditions. On the other hand, she doesn't have the restless nature or love of conflict that will cause carnage or mayhem when there's no direct benefit for herself. She's cold. She has a cold heart, a frosty demeanor; she attracts but will never be wooed. She's considered dangerous to love because she will not love back, and doesn't care much for friendship either, preferring to be alone.

[+/-] Abomination - Her life as a Sephi is over, subject to the terrible effects of Sith Alchemy, her body and soul were corrupted and turned into what they would consider something akin to a energy vampire or sithspawn. Having been altered, she was remade into a more brutal, cunning, and fearsome combatant. She's been given an increase to her strength and dexterity, adding on to her natural traits, which is a plus for her given skill-set. The darker aspects of the arcane has become more natural to her, increasing her chances of utilizing some forms of magicks and alchemy, but not to the level of mastery. On the other hand, While her transformation brought a series of strengths, they have also brought drawbacks. While she has the ability to see in the dark, she cannot distinguish colors. Her former life is something she will never regain; she was cursed with the effects sterilization amongst having been thrust into a long life of loneliness. Also, her entire being is threatened by pure manifestations of the lightside, just as much as she can be manipulated by the dark.

| Biography |

The Reach

Sarya Omberdawn was once a subject under the all-encompassing monarchy of Sephi civilization. She is a member of the Omberdawn family, being the younger sibling of one brother. She had at least two younger cousins who were adopted into her family and raised as her siblings. Her father, Sundamar Omberdawn, had gained his status through royal decree. His relationship with the crown allowed his family to become one of the founding houses of the Valyrr Imperium, which had been created by the then Sephi monarchs to establish a foothold in the Trans-Vulta Sector. The Empire was to mirror Sephi civilization, and would be ruled under a lineage of monarchs raised to status, who were entrusted to govern and rule from the planet Null. The lesser houses would serve as an assembly, where the heads would aid in the governing of matters related to law, war, inter-house conflict, etc.

Sarya who hailed from a family of scouts eagerly joined the Expeditionary Corps along with her siblings. The military venture would go to Null as a precursor to the Imperium with the goals of scouting and gathering intelligence all in preparation for the arrival of the Valyrr in whole. Around this time was when they came into contact with the Null species, and relations were generally friendly in the beginning. The Sephi had adopted the hunting ways of the Null and had become an elite group of wilderness skirmishers few others could best, adopting the plasma based energy bow as one of their primary weapons.

Civil War

While there were rumors as to exactly how King Aulathar had exactly come to power, his marriage and birth of his son had solidified his position as entrusted ruler of Null, killing most murmurs. Unpopular, he was extremely headstrong in his beliefs and ideals and his influence over the assembly allowed him to virtually do what he wanted in the beginning years of his reign. This near-absolute power allowed him to slowly turn his Sephi subjects against the domain from which the Valyrr Imperium originated. As a result of his work, an independent government began to develop under his reign. He later brought the neighboring Null in as subjects and then left his son to finish the work...

Sarya had become an Aer'thas Bushfighter around this time, which originated from the original Valyrr Expeditionary military force. Once the Imperium arrived in whole, an official navy was formed and the Aer'thas Bushfighter' became a separate entity; they remained independent of the Valyrrian navy and acted more like a mercenary group. Sarya rose through the ranks, her exact position wasn't known but it was believed that she was her brother' second as he eventually became a general.

Aulathan, the first Valyrrian Emperor, was a fierce ruler and son of Aulathar who approached everything with self-interest and ambition and bound the Null and Sephi under his undeniable rule and exploited them for the Imperium' gain. These events led to a civil war, Sundamar Omberdawn and many of the other noble house leaders were killed in a coup for Aulathan to gain complete and total control by abolishing the Assembly. Who remained of the noble families turned to the Aer'thas Bushfighters, whose generally small numbers made it near impossible to engage in full scale war. War broke out on numerous fronts, with the Bushfighters knowing the terrain better than the navy they were able to hold their own for the time being until contact could be made with the Monarchs on Thustra for assistance. However, events took a turn for the worst when The Netherworld Crisis hit. Several of her comrades and most of her superiors suddenly disappeared, including her brother. While the effects hit all sides, their numbers were torn up the most. The Sephi Monarchs couldn't send aid because they were down numbers as well.

Aulathan, unbeknownst to most of the Imperium, had been taught how to utilize Sith magicks and alchemy from the Sith Spirit Yatwa Toimzur. The Sith spirit' influence had been growing leading up to the Netherworld Crisis due to the veil weakening, and his plan was to use Aulathan as a host. With her being thrown into command, the force falling apart and the galaxy in an extremely fragile state, she was force to gather all those who remained and make a last stand.

Shrouded in Darkness

Despite their valiant efforts, the Aer'thas forces were destroyed. The remnants were hunted and brought down by force. Barely any survivors were kept, except when they caught Sarya and those who remained with her. They were all then made subjects of the Sith alchemy being corrupted and transformed into abominations where they would come to serve as the personal guard of Aulathan. Sarya had been made into a whirlwind of torment and hatred and was then cursed to live the rest of her long life this way, forever in opposition with the natural world.

The Netherworld Crisis had been quelled, and in turn the Valyrr had turned their sights on the Monarchs of Thustra. But such a force wasn't prepared for the recovering Sephi forces back by other factions who had developed alliances during the dark period. With his own forces weak, the insurrection was quelled not too long in the second war. His prowess in alchemy and magicks were able to permanently alter Sarya forever but it was strong enough to have her bound to his service forever.

Having survived the destruction of the Valyrr Imperium, she knew she would no longer find acceptance on Thustra. Her family had been virtually massacred in the Civil War, and she found herself feeling nothing other than negative emotions, and a deep hunger inside. She would be Sarya Omberdawn no longer...her former life died with the Valyrr.
