Dantooine, the Day after the Treasure hunt. (If you want to join in [member="Una Gal"], go ahead, if not -shrug-)

Solan stared as a storm gathered over Dantooine as well, confused where it had come from when he suddenly heard a door open and the sounds of something strange... it sounded like running. Had his friend come to visit him or was this something of his imagination. Either way his saber found his hand and he started towards the edge of the roof, looking off it and speaking. "Una, did you come back to say hi?" He looked closely into the darkness below, who ever was down there stopped, now time would tell if it was his friend or someone else...

Una Gal said:
She crept up the stairs, her body moving silently, unlike a few minutes ago. Solan wasn't a hard man to find if you knew what you were looking for and scaring him had to be the best idea she'd had yet. It wasn't hard for her to move in the shadows. There was a thin strip of black going up one side of the staircase, cascaded down from the wall it was built upon. From her position a few steps away from the top, she could see Solan's back, leaning over the wall of the roof. There was no guarantee he didn't already know she was here. But that didn't stop her from trying.

In two quick, graceful leaps Una was behind Solan. Her hands rested on his shoulders and jolted him forward a little. "BOO!"

Scaring a man with a saber, not always the best idea as he jumped out of his skin and activated the saber. He stopped the blade though as he turned and almost hit her neck. He dropped it though, it no longer activated and he hugged his friend. "Damnit Una, you scared me half to death... something is weird about this storm, i just... it feels wrong..." Almost if on cue a crack sounded, at first Yusan thought it was thunder until his body was shot forward into una and blaster bolt caught him in the shoulder, nearly causing him to completely fall into her.

Una Gal said:
Her body remained motionless as the neon blur swung for her skin. In her head she knew he wouldn't hit her once he realized. The question was, when would he realize? The hair on her neck, standing on end, released a foul burning smell as the blade almost licked her flesh. Then it dis-ignited.There was a few seconds pause, before her lips cracked into a huge smile and Una laughed with pent up relief. Her arms wrapped around Solan and she returned the friendly squeeze. "There's nothi-..." His body felt heavy in her arms as it fell forward. Her small frame didn't help in terms of strength and there was a few minutes struggle where she could barely stand. She needed to do something quickly. Ducking down, Solan dropping with her, she pressed her back against the wall. "Solan.." Una hissed, tapping his cheek with the tip of her fingers.

Already she had begun to address the wound, figuring out how deep the bolt went and what she would need to do to stop the bleeding. Luckily it hadn't gone far and a simple gauze placed into the gaping hole cut most of the heavy bleeding off straight away. "Solan wake up..." One eye remained on his body while she began to prop him up to dress the wound, while the other kept an eye on the top of the stairs. Her saber was clipped to her belt, she'd be ready in case of immediate danger.

He groaned and winced as he felt the gauze and eyes shot open as she said his name the second time. "Ugh... you didn't have to shoot me, i was just hugging you." He winced as he tried to move, but was able to tell it had missed anything vital and his synthweave had allowed for the bolt only to cause slight penetration, to which Una had stopped the bleeding. Infact, the blast's force is the only thing that had caused him to fall forward and momentarily shock him. "Who shot me..." His answer would be answered as several people came over the threshold of the top step and started to come out on the roof with them, blasters leveled, their faces... their faces leaving Solan looking sick and pale white as he coughed... "Th-they are... they died..."

Una Gal said:
He was awake. She breathed a heavy sigh of relief as she began to help him sit up properly. "I didn't shoot you..." Though it was meant in good health she was clearly too focused to understand the underlying meaning of the joke. She focused for now on wrapping the gauze around his shoulder and under his arm to keep the gauze stuffing inside the wound. "I have no idea who shot you." But the fact behind her sentence was short lived as she lifted her head to watch several soldiers armed with blasters make their way up the stairs. Her jaw hung open. They were clearly dead, as Solan had managed to choke out. But how had they hit him if their blaster bolts were of another life? "What do we do...?"

He blinked as he saw them getting ready to shoot, he looked at her then them again and cursed as there was one good thing about being near the edge of the roof. Without so much as caring if she had a problem with it or not Solan reached up and grabbed Una's robes or what ever clothing it was and pulled her back with him off the roof, or tried to. If that didn't work... well a ton of blaster bolts would shortly come their way from the corpses that utterly frightened Solan. These had been the men that had killed his family, how could they be alive when he had killed two of them with his own hands. A Even more chilling sight greeted them though if they did fall from the roof, though Solan would make sure to try and slow their decent. Standing there between them and an escape into the plains was a half miralukan and half Kiffar woman that smiled softly at them and seemed to have no injuries at all and looked full of life, only she too left Solan paled and this time he was frozen, unable to even speak.

A loud screech escaped Una's throat as she felt the tug of Solan's hand around her robing. She felt the sickening sensation of being weightless take over her body. Her stomach had been left behind on the edge of the roof and didn't seem to catch up with them for the longest of times. As if someone had slowed down time, she clawed the air, desperately trying to grab hold of something solid and stable. Trusting Solan, she wrapped her arms around his middle and prayed hard for him to do something about it. She could have stopped the blaster bolts. Or could she? They were ghost blaster bolts after all. Her head spun as they continued their decent. Una remained blissfully unaware of their second onlooker below.

Solan had landed with her softly and carefully but now he looked more scared of the woman infront of him as he muttered out something. "M-mother... but... i held you as..." He stared and simply stood there, remembering her dying in his arms, remembering the blood that stained his hands every night in revenge for her death... now he could do nothing but stand there and become as pale as a ghost.

Una grunted as they hit the floor, struggling to stand again. Her legs felt like jelly and her stomach was still catching up. She dizzily found Solan, still sitting on the floor and mumbling something inaudible to a strange glow of light. As she turned her head she was meat with a second transparent figure. Panic stricken, she hooked her arms around Solan's and tugged at him to get up. "Come on.. we have to find somewhere safe.." His skin color matched that of the half kiffar woman standing in all her glory in front of them. But Una was too worried to notice. Her tugging got a little more urgent as the glow of a dozen more ghosts began making their way back down the stairs.

"But... i... mother..." The woman merely stood there and stared at them coldly as Una half dragged, half pulled Solan away from the spot he stood in, unable to even speak now as terror and grief claimed him, his eyes shaking with his entire body as the memory of her dying in his arms replayed a million times over in his head, broken by the site of her.

Una pulled them behind a corner, away from the bright light that moved steadily closer to the two. She figured for now, if she couldn't see them, they couldn't see her. Leaning down to Solan she tapped his cheek once or twice with her finger tips. "Solan, come on. Snap out of it! We're in danger here..." Leaning to the side, she was shocked to see how close the light was already. It illuminated her face and the worry she harbored in the dangerous situation they were in. Turning back to Solan, her voice now held a panicked tone. "Solan, please. Come on..."

"She was right there.... what if i just left her to die... what if i..." The voice was cut short by another, behind Una the woman had once more appeared, alone this time though and staring at her back and Solan as he was being shaken out of it by Una. She seemed peaceful, all wounds gone, and her body not that of a spectre. She looked real in every aspect and her voice was soft and kind as it left her. "Son.... ive missed you.... who is she?" The woman that was dead moved to look at Una, no malice in words or expression as Solan once more froze up.

Una turned around at the voice, it scared her right out of her skin. Screaming, she flailed and rolled away from Solan, pressing her back against the wall. "Solan why are you just standing there...? We have to go.." The light from this woman was blinding. And she couldn't recognize her from anything she had seen before. The ghostly figure in front of her was just as curious as Una was herself. "Solan.. please." Una turned her head to Solan with a look in her eyes that could have only been left by one emotion.

Fear.

Solan didn't even seem to hear Una though, too focused on the fact his mother was alive once more as his shock turned to happiness as he shot forward and hugged the woman, crying at how he had failed to save her. The woman though looked at Una, and a twisted smile soon came. "My son... i am back, but i have to do something and then you and i can stay together again. Let me 'talk' with your friend..." The woman pealed away as she moved towards una with a sickening grin, Solan oblivious to the words said, too focused on the fact he could protect his mother once more. "So, you are his friend then? Probably someone simply working to hurt him, im going to have to kill you now."

Una's eyes widened as the ghost made its way toward her. She was Solan's mother and she clearly had some kind of grudge against her. She had no idea how to defend herself against a ghost and instead Una backed up further against the wall. Clueless, she moved her hand around in her robes and reached for her double bladed saber. Igniting it in the small alley way they sat in, it sent a bright flash of color to brighten the darkest corners. "Solan I swear to the gods. Please, snap out of it. I don't want to be killed by your ghost mother..." Her voice shook with fear as she got into a defensive stance. "And you, crazy ghost lady, I have no idea what you're talking about. I don't want to hurt him."

"No.... but i dont think he wants to see me dead again..." She grinned, the implication shed light on Solan's next action as solan seemed to move out between una and his mother, staring at her. His eyes were cloudy, fogged by the thought that Una was there to kill his mother again. "I c-can't let you do this... i... i h-have to kill you Una... forgive me..." In a moment one of the sabers he kept on his belt ignited and he attacked her, mind taken over for the minute by the apparition that tricked him, by the ghost that in itself was corrupted.

Una grumbled and lowered her saber, opening her mouth as if she were about to speak. A shadow blocked out the blindingly bright light and Solan stepped in front of her. The way the white pooled around the edges of his body and shadowed his face made him seem far to sinister. It was in his voice too along with sorrow and confusion. Una had little time to react and twisted her body to block the oncoming saber. "Solan are you crazy?! I'm not going to kill anyone.. especially not you and mother dearest." Solan was a much more experienced fighter than she was and she knew she couldn't last long, her only choices were to escape or change his mind.

"I...im sorry... i can't see her die, not again..." He was trapped in that his mother was standing there, right behind him, and unknown to him grabbing a blade from her own side and waiting for her son to finish off Una before doing the same to him. "F-forgive me Una... please." He moved in quick jabs and light but equally quick cuts. He was looking to prolong having to kill his friend, trying to fight doing it, but ultimately thinking that if he didn't she would kill the woman. And as long as he was under her spell he would not be able to stop from doing such.
