The Susulur-type Countermeasures Ship is the Mandalorian Empire's definitive expression of electronic warfare, developed by Aether Systems as a successor to the Cuirassier-class platform. Where traditional warships dominate through overwhelming firepower, the Susulur-type conquers through control of the battlespace itself. At 1,600 meters in length, the vessel occupies the upper boundary between Light Destroyer and full Star Destroyer, yet its purpose is neither direct assault nor fleet command. Instead, it serves as a mobile fortress of sensors, signal warfare, and interdiction technology - capable of isolating entire star systems from escape while rendering hostile fleets effectively blind and disorganized. Its four gravity well projectors allow it to tear vessels from hyperspace lanes and prevent retreat, while its Crystal Gravfield Trap provides unparalleled detection of cloaked craft, a capability possessed by few ships in the galaxy. These systems alone make the Susulur-type invaluable for hunting stealth fleets, rogue task forces, and covert infiltration groups. In combat, the ship rarely fires first. Instead, its Jamming Beams mark hostile targets and scramble their fire-control systems, causing weapons to drift off target, missiles to lose lock, and fleet coordination to fracture. The 220-SIG Tactical Combat Jammer and 995 Stormcloud ECM Suite blanket entire regions of space in electronic interference, overwhelming sensor arrays and reducing enemy formations to fragmented, confused elements.
