Survival training

Rapax

Guest
Rapax thought it high time his new apprentice [member="Quincy Evelyn Sharpe"] was given the proper survival experience...however before this was to be done he went to Atrisia to talk to [member="Lord Mythos"] to plan the training out...there was a island that was hazardous to any life on it but he wanted to plan more with mythos he even decided to send [member="Lord Ajihad"] a message too it would be the first time he worked with the sith but he figured his apprentice would need the challenge, He even sent a message for a freelancer he heard of to arrive to for the job [member="Ydrin"] was his name he hoped this freelancer was good at his work.

Atrisia

A small flame would ignite in the center of the room. Instead of being attached to a solid object, the small ball of fire hovered in mid air. It stayed as it was for several moments, slowly smoldering in front of the likes of [member="Lord Mythos"] and [member="Darth Rapax"]. The, the temperature in the room would suddenly drop. The crimson flame turned into a very light blue, then it exploded. Blue fire washed over the room, but instead of burning anyone, it would simply convey a feeling of pure cold. As the fire cleared away, a lone figure would stand in its absence. The figure was clad in all black, a balaclava pulled over his face. He would slowly examine the room, until his eyes fell upon the two men standing before him. He opened his mouth to speak, and he projected his words laced with a feeling of raw power.

"I was needed?"

Ydrin sighed as he leant back in his seat. His duster coat was thrown across the arms of the chair, his rifle propped up against the arm, while his revolver was being spun lazily in his left hand. In his right he held a glass of old and aged Correlian Wine while a unlit cigarette hung from hip lips negligently. He was currently sat before a holocommunicator station, waiting for the link with his current patrons to be established. Behind him, his personal and modified droid, Y8-S1, wandered around, setting up the communications link, running it through his numerous encryptions.

Eventually, the lights of the station flickered into life and Ydrin pushed himself to his feet, silver necklace bouncing on his chest as he did so. Ignoring the mumbling of Y8, in his normal, monotone, robotic but distinctly male voice.

Placing the revolver to the side, Ydrin stared at the blue and translucent images of his patrons appeared before him. He already knew they were Sith, some of them made no effort to keep there presence within the Galactic Game a secret, and it lit a smug fire within him to offer them no bows nor subjugation of his self. Instead, he slowly raised his glass to his lips while his purple and mismatched eyes, one with a black film over his whites, stared at the figure before him in boredom. Taking a long sip, Ydrin smirked at the men as he lowered his drink.

"Greetings. I believe you wished to hire me?"

He answered the holocall and saw the young pirate he was interested in..good ...two of thebest hunters against a mere child...part of him felt sorry for the girl she had no chance of getting close to [member="Lord Ajihad"] this merc through reputation will be just as skilled to say the least...none the less this wasn't a competition. "Yes i would like you to come to Atrisia to do a little ...survival training for my apprentice....ill fill you in on the details in person if you wish to come"

[member="Ydrin"]

Mythos sat in the room and smirked as the familiar presence of [member="Lord Ajihad"] saturated the cold room, the blue flame felt cool upon his skin and his knuckled which clenched the axe that always adorned the king's figure. He simply nodded before he spoke, the simple tilting of his head sending waves of dark energy around the room.... he had become unable to control the dark energy of the axe and his prolonged ownership and handling of it had corrupted him indefinitely.... and permanently.

As the single greatest assassin second only to his master Ophidia walked into the room Mythos raised his clenched fist. "You are always needed Lord Ajihad..." He paused a long second before continuing. "Your absence has caused quite a worry" Mythos paused again, his visage grimacing at the thought, then he smiled a half smirk. "i am glad those worries can now be laid to rest"

As the sith lord rose from his seat the very presence of the darkside could begin to mount in a tension of pure evil and destruction looking to make it'self flesh and destroy anything that stood in it's way. His head tilted to regard his apprentice. "You have heard of the Island...." Mythos said, as if he knew what exactly what was going to transpire before it even came to pass... he was beginning to foresee certain events as the dark side of the force slowly blessed him with power with each passing day... "Three patrols of Atrisian soldiers scouted the island..." He paused one last time before crossing his arms over his chest as if expecting his apprentice to speak before he could. "None have returned."

Rapax smirked as everyone had finally arrived here ...and he heard of the island ...he was going to use it well for this training indeed.... He spoke addressing all three." I am glad you all have come .....the reason i called you is because well...my new apprentice is new to life that isnt that of a simple street theif...i want her to grow and learn how to survive treacherous terrain while there are hunter's chasing her....for i know such a situation will occur soon or later for the child." He looked to [member="Ydrin"] and [member="Lord Ajihad"] before saying this " The reason i called for you two is because i wanted you two too be the hunters....if you are willing to take up the task.....there is ...one rule to this training ...and that is no killing she cannot kill you and i would prefer you to show her the same courtesy...you can wound...or stun...her training ends when one of you captures her." He then turned to [member="Lord Mythos"] "With your permission i would like to use the island you speak of for such a training method...she could use the practice in its deadly terrain."

The assassin listened intently to [member="Darth Rapax"] as he spoke. Apparently, he was being contracted to take down a target. Only difference was he wasn't able to kill this one, just subdue her. He subconsciously began checking his weapons, which was quite a long process. At any given time, he was typically armed with enough weapons to supply a small army of assassins.
He turned to [member="Lord Mythos"] after listening to the knight, looking around the room as he did so. From what he had seen, the place was rather nice. "Quite a nice palace you have here, Lord Mythos. Tell me, did you build this yourself?" He walked over to a table, which was neatly arranged with plates and goblets set next to each other neatly. He walked to the head of the table, presumably where Mythos normally sat. He gently picked up the wood goblet, examining the intricate patterns some artisan hand carved into it. Suddenly, a change would come across it. It would transform from wood to solid 24 karat gold. He turned around and tossed the goblet to Mythos. "A housewarming gift, then."
The assassin turned back to Rapax, a cold look still dwelling in the seemingly infinite depths of his eyes. "Who is this apprentice of whom you speak?"
[member="Ydrin"]

Mythos lifted his hand as the golden goblet came forth to him, it's trajectory gradually slowing down in it's flight as the telekinetic web brought it gently to Mythos' hand. When he gazed upon it his brow furrowed, it looked golden yet he knew this goblet was wood not a few seconds ago. A trick of illusions? A spell?
Mythos took a bite of the goblet clamping down with his jaw hard to test the truth of his suspicion. His teeth met hard metal.

He chuckled softly as he placed the golden goblet in his thrones arm rest and shook his head musingly. "No" Mythos said still amused by what he had just seen. "This place was built about a thousand years ago by ancient atrisian emperors" His voice sounded like a history teacher who had been employed for one too many a semester, however it quickly changed when he began speaking again. "But when the throne fell to me i decided to keep with tradition. "

He took the goblet in his hands and turned it about, examining it closely when an idea struck him. "Can you do that" Mythos motioned to the goblet. "But to.... you know" He gestured to the ceiling. "Big?"

Rapax decided now would be a good time for her to see her hunters and the man incharge of this world. He clapped his hands together twice in rapid succession...it was a summon for [member="Quincy Evelyn Sharpe"] to enter...he hoped she obeyed the summon other wise he will have to discipline her again...she was a wild one...perhaps [member="Lord Ajihad"] can fix that issue after this session......a new matter to discuss for later

Quincy quickly entered the area in which she was summoned and looked around the room with sass filling her face. Her eyes traced her master and the other beings in the room. "I was summoned?" At the end of her sentence her eyes flicked back to her master and she crossed her arms in front of her. She was actually about to head off to go and find a bite to eat before Rapax called her in. She was kind of dissapointed but she kind of knew better after last time she disobeyed her master.

Rapax motioned her over to the group to address her to the others"This is my apprentice Quincy Sharpe....shes new to combat and ...well virtually anything outside of a simple street life......" He then turned his gaze to her." These are comrades of mine who i served and trained with since i was a simple acolyte.....[member="Lord Ajihad"] one of our best Assassins [member="Lord Mythos"] my former master before i became a Knight ....much of his teachings are what made me who i am today.... and this is [member="Ydrin"] a freelancer i asked to come here today....the reason you and they are here is because Its high time you learned how to survive treacherous terrain with not only hostile wild life....but with the enemy hunting you relentlessly......Ajihad and Ydrin i have asked to be your hunters. This is Mythos's world so that is why he is present he will be watching your progress with me, There is one rule in this and that is no killing...the hunters can only wound or stun you...and you can do like wise to them if the opportunity presents it self." He took out a small injector and grabbed her arm and injected a small device into her arm." This will monitor your vitals and give us observers your location during this exercise......Any questions?"

Ajihad blinked as [member="Lord Mythos"] finished speaking to him. Did he just ask if the assassin could transform the ceiling into gold. Before he could tell Mythos 'no,' he heard something shuffling around in the hall.

Ajihad watched as [member="Quincy Evelyn Sharpe"] entered the room. She had a certain attitude about her, an attitude that had no place in an apprentice. His eyes conveyed a sense of disgust as he stared the young girl down. He would break her. He would make her suffer. She was going to need quite a few cybernetics after he was through with her.

After [member="Darth Rapax"] was finished speaking, Ajihad had but one thing to say.

"I don't need a tracking device to hunt her."

[member="Ydrin"]

Quincy jumped back at having the sudden burst in her arm. She understood what it meant but she really disliked it... almost feared it. Her eyes turned around the room and squinted at [member="Lord Ajihad"] and spoke "I'm much more of a handful as you will see." She rubbed her arm where the small device was injected. She hated needles, especially ones that contained some stupid electronics that could possibly mess with her head. "Well [member="Darth Rapax"], I guess it is high time we get the train rolling?"

Ajihad continued to stare down at [member="Quincy Evelyn Sharpe"] with a look of pure disdain. She might think she was a handful to her fellow petty thieves and skateboarding hoodlums, but to him, she was but vermin. And the assassin exterminating vermin with the utmost discrimination.
He would raise his head to look at [member="Darth Rapax"]. "I agree with the child. I am ready to begin the hunt."

He nodded and showed [member="Quincy Evelyn Sharpe"] and[member="Lord Ajihad"] to their respective shuttles...he gave quincy only 2 daggers and some standard survival gear...as for Ajihad...well...what ever gear he wanted he would no doubt take hes not the one training here...." We will be monitoring both of you from the throne room here......good luck on your survival young apprentice....youll need it."

Without saying another word, the assassin would stride onto his shuttle. He could have just flied to a location of his choice and sniped her ship out of the sky, but there wouldn't be any fun in that. No, he would relish the hunt. He would relish the feeling of his knives digging into her body, scarring her for the rest of eternity not only physically, but mentally as well.
He took his seat and leaned back, waiting for his transport to arrive at the island. How long would she survive? How long before he would shatter her mind and leave her a broken shell of her former self? These questions would answer themselves before long.

Quincy leaned back against the wall as she also waited for her transport to arrive. It was her first real challenge that she would have to face. A legitimate case where she could be killed by an actual sith master. On the outside she still looked calm and collected, but on the inside her mind was all over the place. She couldn't really gauge the mans skill as she never really fought against anyone. It was time to put everything to the test.

Before long, his shuttle dropped him off on the lonely island. He was surrounded by trees, with a small pond just inches from his feet. Little fish swam about in the sea before him, and he a saw a large dark shape looming underneath the water's surface just off the coast. The assassin then turned his attention to the skies, looking for the acolyte's shuttle. The hunt was beginning.
