APPEARANCE:
Surana always wears her army uniform in public, sometimes even when off duty. It's usually green with her admiral bands on the chest of it. She is phsyically fit and often lets her hair stay down while braiding some strands.
BIOGRAPHY:
Surana was born on the borders of the terriotries of the republic and the sith. Her mother would awlays tell her there was nothing to fear given that the jedi were always protectors to the innocent. When she was only 6 years old the sith had attacked her planet, trying to claim it for thier own. In the ensuing invasion Surana hid away when she watched her own mother slain at the hands of a sith, just moments before the republic forces arrived to drive them off.
With no other family to go to, she not knowing her father, Surana was put in a foster home for after losing both her mother and home. Now living on Courascant Surana had a passionate hatred for the sith and wished to see them wiped from the galaxy. Being that she had no force abilites and could not become a jedi herself she turned to military life instead; this added to her own dislike for the jedi after she felt they "failed" to save her mother.
When she was old enough Surana joined the Republic military and proved to be a skilled officer. As she progressed to the rank of captian within ten years after graduating, Surana helped lead many a charge against the sith and all other enemies of the republic. Often her battles forced her to make hard decisions in sacrificing man power and forces in order to win a fight, not sitting well for some but her often claiming it was for the greater cause.
After many years of proving her prowess Surana was granted the rank of admiral and now continues to fight for the Reoublic she cares for above all else.
