STRENGTHS
  • Mandalorian Steel: The Mandalorian Supercommando armor is primarily made of duraplast, with an added layer of Mandalorian Steel over the duraplast to create a layered structure to the armor. This allows the armor to be far lighter than if it was made from full Mandalorian Steel or Beskar, and giving the wearer greater mobility for reasonable protection.
  • Life Support: The Supercommando armor is capable of being fully enclosed from the environment around it, allowing the wearer to survive in a biological warfare or vacuum environment.
WEAKNESSES
  • EMP: While only having a moderate amount of Beskar, the Supercommando armor is still susceptible to EMP based weaponry.
  • Support: While being able to be cut off from the environment, the armor itself has only limited environmental systems to keep the wearer comfortable, any prolonged isolation within the armor could lead to the wearer overheating or asphyxiating.
DESCRIPTION
Following the formation of the Mandalorian Unions Supercommando division, a new set of armor was deemed necessary to equip the Supercommandos. With Beskar being a rare commodity even on Mandalore itself, the Supercommando armor would only receive a coating of Mandalorian Steel instead to add resistance to the duraplast that would make up a majority of the armor. An armorweave cloak would be added to the armor as well, to add one more layer of protection for the wearer. Every new suit of armor is produced in a pure white coloring, to represent a new beginning for the wearer when they put it on. After becoming a Supercommando, the warrior is allowed to repaint the armor however they see fit.
